I've seen that the Bundesliga would be next in line.
I think you'll see more fall in line over the next few years. Next year might be rough with the World Cup, but it makes so much more sense to have the deals done before the season starts. |

Sat behind a Southampton fan when the Swans played North Carolina FC in the states.
They kept blathering on about how we were so wrong to sell Jack Cork and only bought her ticket to see him.
Every Swans fan they met, they were talking about how great Southampton is. |

Replace quality with quality and I've got no problem selling Gylfi/Mawson/Llorente.
Problem is that we've rarely replaced quality with quality since ML left. |

Honestly every player has a price, and if we get 50-plus for Llorente and Siggy that seems fair.
But it needs to happen ASAP if it's going to happen. Spending on quality is well and good but the players need to gel. That won't happen if we wait till the end of August. |

Ki is currently out injured, so I don't mind him being off of the list.
Last two games he played well but we can't rely on that.
I think it'll be Fer early in the season, considering he started last year so well. He'll fall off, we'll switch to Cork/Britton at CDM and Mesa out on the right. |

Would be shocking if we bought Mesa for 11 and Chalobah, who would command at least 10m, right? Young, English, capable.

Makes no sense.
Why not take a chance on a young homegrown GK instead of a Dutch GK nearing 30?
Hope he's on no wage at all, otherwise this is just another contract that we'll be happy to dump in three years. |

Would love him to go the Tom Carroll route.
Play well for us, go back to Chelsea, struggle to get time, come back to us because he enjoyed it here and he played well.
Think he could be a great sub after 70 minutes of Llorente. Energetic in the box, great finisher. |

If we were to get a young guy like Abraham I'd want it to be a purchase. No reason for us to play Chelsea's youngster.
But if we purchased -- and maybe added a cheapish (20m?) buyout to Chelsea, they wouldn't feel bad about it and we could actually get something from playing him. |
