Byers has got better?
He looked a very tidy player with potential to grow last season but he's really struggled this year. Just like most of them he has got worse. |

Cooper has played Gallagher as a 10 in the last two games rather then deep or the left of a flat 3. We've also had a proper winger out there for all of yesterday and the latter part of the game last week where we scored 2.
No wonder we've hit 7 goals, now will Steve learn this is the way forward? |

Icecoldjack...correct. He was superb in those years under Guidolin and Clement, vital in our first season too. |

Roberto also had the respect of all the players already and was a leader when he played here. Obviously still a huge leap, but these things helped.
I think the next manager must have proven he can deliver a decent level of football at some professional level and not the sheltered world of international youth set ups.
Looking into Burchnall, his background (outside of the long playing career) is very similar to Potter. So does look a good shout. |

It's 100% because of the 3 game week. Borja was excellent vs Reading and Charlton but looked knackered come the Stoke game.
I would rather have him out there for both home games this week so think it was the right call. |

The first thing Cooper said in his debut interview was he had seen half the games from last season already and would soon see them all. Dont think he even needed pre-season to make some of these calls. |

His best performance was away at Stoke where he played a narrow left sided role. He linked the play incredibly well and was finding pockets of space to operate in.
Thought he played pretty well in the deep lying role and alongside Grimes, they had a very effective partnership. Interested to see if Cooper sees him there or as a 10. Right now, no doubt in my mind we start the season with Grimes Byers and Celina as the midfield 3.
Good to have a midfield player who will take a shot from range, think he scores some crackers next season.
I think he could develop into a top player. Good to get him tied down. |

Maybe they just don't rate Toshack all that much?
I have no issue with Cooper though. Seems to tick a lot of boxes. Happy for us to take these type of gambles. |

Seems a real stretch if true but judging by the names linked it wouldn't shock me if he won the interview process.
Usually takes 2 weeks or so, I expect someone to be named in the next few days. |

Plays the right style of football - he's committed to it.
Did a terrific job at Oxford.
His spells at Blackpool/Pompey/Blackburn don't look good on paper but as soon as you get into the context of it there's not much he could have done. He went to all of them at the height of the craziness.
I'm not saying this name should excite anyone but he makes sense for a lot of reasons. He's absolutely a better option than any of the bookies favourites without doubt. |

Of course Cersei is the main villian. They spent 8 seasons giving her a detailed back story and she has clear conflict with all the remaining hero's. That's before you even start to speculate what they might do with Daenerys, who is far from clearly 'good |

Who knows but I don't think the Harris selection was done for that reason. Potter (wrongly) decided he wanted to play 3 at the back and Harris, being a natural left footer, was a logical choice on the left side of the 3. Plus, he's the 4th choice centre half, he's going to play at some point. He played well vs Palace in the cup and confidence was obviously there. |

Think I can re-call one situation he misjudged. A solid debut and he played some good passes (there was one great chipped pass down the line to Celina I think). A very talented footballer who should take great confidence from the trust put in him Saturday. Left footed centre halfs who are comfortable on the ball...rare. |

Follow quite a few reliable people who report in English what's happening with Dortmund and seen no links to Fabianski?
The reports last week believed Hitz will compete with Burki for the number one spot. I suppose they could sell Burki as well.
Would be a fantastic move for him if it did happen. Burki is great on his day but was inconsistent last season and made some key errors. |

De Boer wanted a complete change of style and it was never going to work in 4 games. Zaha missed 3 of them as well. Whole thing was a joke really, think it's unfair to hold it against him. The Inter spell was bad though.
But if we want a return to possession football he fits. |
