You obviously didn't watch the game against Stoke reserves Nobby, when he was at fault for both their goals

Nobby, Will you be posting your dribble on here whilst (allegedly) watching the game at the stadium?

Simple yes or no Nobby?

Yous back in Blighty Nobby?, or still on your jollies on Fantasy Island?
Wifi good there eh? 17 posts last Saturday, you really need to get out a bit more.

Will you be pretending to post multiple times from the stadium this Saturday?,
like previous home games.
Yes or no, simple question, you should be fine with it

Pat, Nobby22 is currently in Narnia (allegedly) on his jolleys, and says he may be back Saturday for Everton (depending on flights), where he'll try and beat his record of 10 posts on the forum from the stadium (allegedly)during the game.

He managed 17 posts from Narnia on Saturday for the City game, morning, afternoon, evening and during the night

Some of the goons claiming to be our fans, worrying really

Southampton At Manchester City The Verdict

What's worrying Nick is RM thinking Onuachu & Sulemana are even good enough for the bench of a PL side, anyone with an half ounce of football knowledge knows they're not good enough for the Dog and Duck pub team.

£50 million for two donkeys, couldn't make it up really, if you didn't laugh, you'd

Plenty of planes flying back from Narnia Friday Nobby, yous should be fine.
Are there no bars or strip clubs open in Narnia old son?, most people go on their jollies to enjoy themselves, you spend Saturday morning, afternoon, evening and middle the night posting on a football forum, bit weird really eh Nob?
Could understand if you knew your stuff, but your footballing IQ is a couple of numbers less than your shoe size.

Not up to your standard of texting from the ground Nob, don't know how you manage to watch the game at SMS and have time to txt the forum so many times.
Not all Superhero's wear capes eh

Nobby, yous back in Blighty for the the Stoke and Everton home games ?

Must be a tough balancing act watching the game at the stadium and posting 10 times on a football forum during the game, though you seem to have nailed it

Wifi must be better where you sit than in the Northam,
Ive got a job to text my Mrs to get the dinner ready at full time

2am in the morning Nobby, are you in a nightclub in Manchester

Wifi not great at the Etithaad, you may have problems posting during the match.

As for Forest they've got plenty of PL quality players, unlike us, they buy Chris Wood for 15m who scores goals in the PL, whereas we pay 20m for Tall Paul who has more chance of flying to the moon tonight for supper that scoring in the PL.
It's not rocket science.

Saints only have 2 Premier League quality players
at 21:47 23 Oct 2024

He's about right isn't he?

Ramsdale may get in a mid-table PL side, Downs maybe lower half if lucky, the rest are pretty much Championship level, and our fans wonder why we're struggling

When we got relegated 2 years back, only Lavia and JWP went on to join PL clubs, the rest were Championship level at best, that's why no PL clubs brought any of them.

Not rocket science is it?

Corners, why do teams bring all 10 players back for a corner?
at 22:05 28 Sep 2024

Same as England when they they play rubbish like Slovenia/Slovakia.

Leave Kane Saka Palmer on the halfway line, that'll give them a problem, don't let them take the p1ss, show them no respect, they won't send too many forward then, will they?

You're right Pat, they had nothing to lose in the 95th min.

They wouldn't have done that in the 5th min though, would they?

Even England do it when they play minnows who wouldn't ever score if they played the likes of Northern Ireland, it's crazy

Can some who's maybe managed a team, please tell me why us, and many other teams including England against rubbish teams like Slovenia do this?

Take last Saturday against Ipswich, from the corner they scored from, we had 9! in the 6 yard and AA watching just outside , what's the point in bringing midgets back anyway?

If you left 2 up on the halfway line surely they'd have to leave 2/3 back, which would mean they'd only have 6/7 in the penalty area causing chaos.

Any ideas?

Players fitness levels of the 70's and 80's are a million miles away from what they are now, players then spent more time in pubs and betting shops than training.
If the full backs went up, they wouldn't be able to get back.

Defenders defended then never had the skill to pass along the back or accept the ball under pressure, that wasn't their job, that's why they generally booted it long most of the time.
Tbf, the pitches were terrible back then, (Derby played on sand and mud) many didn't have any grass come January so they wouldn't have been suited to the passing game.

For the youngsters who've never seen the 1970 Fa Cup final take a look at this, the game now would have been abandoned due to so many players being sent off.
