The boys put in a much improved shift today and deserved the 3 points. Makes a nice change to hear the crowd get fully behind them, but they all earned it. Mullarkey was excellent as was Lloyd . Honorable mentions for Quigley and of course Hendo who scored the more difficult of his two good chances. Can we go to orient and get something? Depends which Dale turn up. Todays version has every chance. |

Kind of mirrors my thinking. I'm confused as to why there has been such a sudden aboutturn in the message from the boardroom. Those supporters who answered the plea for help and bought a few thousand shares a year ago could lose everything if an outside investor comes along and buys the available shares plus the board members ones. Must admit, I too am at a complete loss to fathom why Stockdale was retained at the end of last season, and then given a bigger budget to waste on as poor a selection of players as we have seen in ages. Then he was sacked after a few games of this season. It doesn't make any business sense at all. |

But YD is correct that quite often there are no updates for 10-15 minutes, followed by several in quicktime. Sometimes (in hospital for eg) it's not possible to get ifollo so i have to rely on the twitter feeds and this board. Sometiomes it's good other times it's very slowly updated. Course it gives 442 another chance to have an unnecassary pop at YD. Surprised t'other one hasn't joined in yet. |

Reading between the lines it sounds like there would be resistance from the new board in Dunphy coming back. We should be above all this. I kinda understand this reluctanse because Chris sold up a few years back, but we all know that was because it was a toxic place with Roger argueing with everyone and genrally being a control freak. The club is bigger than anyone's ego. Past or present. The new board should at least speak with Dunphy to see how he can help. I heard he had problems with a couple of our (now) Life Presidents and they may be advising againt a comeback. |

You lose the right to keep having a go at YD when you insist that Keohane is still our best bet as a full back. He has been utter rubbish all season. I mean absolute useless. Our second worst fullback at the club. Marginally better than Cameron fookin John. EBJ has made loads of mistakes recently, but selecting the silent one as Captain is one of his biggest. |

Chaff.. I don't think any previous board would have acepted £80k for our most saleable asset. It must have cost us more than this to bring him through the youth set up. I can only hope the figure is woefully wrong, otherwise, my growing concerns for the new board are growing quickly. And my concerns for the future of the club are multiplying fast. Hope the board are prepared for some tough questions Tuesday because this smacks of desperation. |

it goes from bad to worse,. Big questions to answer at the forum now. Why was Brierley on trial at a club under an embargo for a day longer than necessary? why was he not brought back earlier (soon as the embargo hit) and why are we prepared to sell suvh an exiting prospect for peanuts. £80k is a ninsult to everyone who collected money , bought shares and generally worked there socks off to save the club from shysters only a year ago. Lord knows what Cloughies executors think now. Nixon is usually accurate, so there needs to be a damn good reason for accepting such a low offer. The Board are not covering themselves with glory here. But; The cost of the Bottom era and the failed MH takeover is far greater than we could have thought of at the time. They are still hurting us now. |

Doesn't really specify which player was which. Suppose its another question for someone to ask at the forum. I'd be amazed if Blackburn tried to sign a multi million player at such short notice. Ie the other one. If they did then its asking for trouble. I just asumed if was Brierley and they were only told he could go a few hours before deadline. |

I might be missing something here, but Blackburn say that they were only made aware of the players availability late on Tuesday afternoon. I guess this was after it came clear that he couldn't sign for Shefield United. Who made them aware so late? It was obvious he can't sign for shefield a few days before, so why didn't we bring him back earlier? Sorry if this was covered elsewhere. |

Having now watched it back, the Hendo "goal" is very marginal. The lineman should signal straight way instead of waiting till surrounded by them. The elbow is as clear a straight red as you will ever see. Their players all know it as well if you look at them reaction. The penalty shout looks another poor decision. 9 times out of tem a ref will give it. He also missed 2 obvious yellow cards for Jim plus another blatant yellow card for one of their players. Just a poor days work for the officials. Awful ref. I have no idea why you couldn't see the elbow or the penalty shout unless you were stood in the sandy. |

Can't agree about Jim. Very slow, and mad a few bad mistakes, plus should have been booked at least once. Staggeringly, he looked composed at times, and like a giraffe on a skateboard at other times. Taylors distribution was awful to watch at times. Keohane is so scared of a forward pass that its untrue. Mellor did ok, but my mom was Dodgson, who was excellent especially as an attacking threat. Good crosser too. Annoyingly, he plays where Lloyd is best playing, so we had to move him infield where he had a much quieter game. Agree about Eastwood. Just what on earth we thinking .Awful waste of a loan. Hendo and Quigley improved us hugely so why wait so long to bring them on? EBJ is guilty of making some big mistakes. There's no way Keohane should be captin and as for leading by example crickey he passed it backwards way too much. Kelly went off it tears today. Either because he has a bad injury or because he knows he played badly. The disallowed goal looked to be offside, but the officials made a right mess of it. a full minute after it went in until the liner put his flag up. What a mess. If I had to call it now I would say we are down. But I will keep going till the end. |

Never a world beater but a good solid professional who can play in defence or midfield. If he is at the same standard as last time, he will improve us. |

Some good reasoned arguments here. I've thought for a while that we could and should do more with the scorebord to make it more interesting for fans. We have a digital media officer? Lets see some 5 minute videos of things like Youth team, players in training, players getting treated for injuries (to prove we actually do this!) commercial oppertunitis at the club, and perhaps one showcasing the hospitality that you can have in the lounge or in a box. Put subtitles on so people can see and read what's happening. It's all part of comunicating, which seems poor at the moment. My boss asked by email about hiring a box for the staff but he didn't get a reply first time, then was staggered to find that it has gone up almost 70% since last time he did it just before covid hit. He's doing one at Oldham instead. Do the new board realise how much buisinees is being put off because prices are to high . I try to be positive, but its hard not to point out the missed chances at the club, and the board seem blissfully unaware of them. |

I'm afraid that the New Board are starting to look and act hopelessly out of their depth regarding running a football club. They may well be good in other areas of business, but football is unique. This hole Brierley episode smells rotten. I was told by a Director that he was injured only 10 days ago. Lies. Or Chairman told Rodio Bolton that we ware signing 4 players in the coming week..3 weeks ago. Rubbish. We have only signed a goalkeeper who has made an awful start, and he seems to be a replacement for one who was given a contract on way too much money. Amateurish. That said I'm happier for us to fold completely than for MH and Bottom to profit from our demise. Unfortunately, it really looks like we might not have a team to support soon. |

Exactly what my Bradford pal tells me. Doesn't come off is line, and gets beaten from long range too often. Still a decent keeper if you have commanding centre halves infront of him. He also told me that he was very surprised when we signed him because of wages so I wonder if we need to offload him? |
