Sometimes you talk sense, sometimes you talk bollocks. This time it's the latter. No point saying anything else really. |

So the fact he's our only recognised left back, who was being targeted by their players and fans, and was on a yellow didn't come into the decision at all? I agree Carlos wanted to bring on another attacking option, but the decision to hook Olsson rather than Naughton would certainly have been influenced by Olsson being on a yellow. |

He probably was surprised, because it probably wasn't in the game plan to make that switch, but with Olsson on a yellow it made sense. We're playing wing-backs high up the pitch rather than traditional full backs so whereas he looked inept at left-hand under PC, his role on Saturday after Olsson went off required him to hold a more defensive position than he had been - whilst still looking to attack when possible. At least he didn't throw a hissy fit like the time Agustein did when he was asked to move to right-back. |

Echo previous statements, would be chuffed with a point, but I agree that if we set up as we have done for Liverpool and Arsenal we could nullify any threat - they're most dangerous on the counter attack, as we were last night. Stifle their attack and we could get all 3 points. |

From what I've read/heard only teams to approach Dortmund have been ourselves, WBA and WHU. It seems WBA dropped out once they'd secured Sturridge, and by the sounds of it we were pretty close today. Not sure why this is as he's a quality player, and you would have thought 'bigger' teams would be interested. |

According to radio just now, Dortmund are willing to sell him, just not loan. Unless they want crazy bucks we should still be pursuing this one |

Regardless of whether he's biased, bent or just rubbish (I'm leaning towards the last), surely somebody at the FA and PGMOL should be looking at situations like ours and discretely ensuring that Bobby isn't near one of our games in any capacity for a while. |
| Forum Reply | Sanches - Every touch against Spurs at 18:35 4 Jan 2018
Got to remember that the start of Sanches' decline came with being coached by Ancelotti (and, for a while, PC). Whatever it is about their approach to the game and man-management certainly doesn't work for Sanches. I dare say Bayern are chuffed we got rid of PC, whether they keep Sanches or not at the end of the season there now seems to be a better chance of them getting something from their massive investment in him. |
| Forum Reply | Kaplan and Levien now own 3 sports teams that are all in last place at 16:44 1 Jan 2018
No Jenkins didn't know how bad they would be, the problem is that he quite clearly didn't care, as long as he and his mates got their payday. If he honestly did any due diligence on Levein, he would have found plenty that would have concerned him if he cared about the club moving forward. |

I'm 99% sure that I was taught science in school by Andrew's dad, and he is one of the nicest and most decent people you could wish to meet. So I'll take that as my way of viewing Andrew's character, as opposed to who his father in law is. |

But it is, just as it's true that there are fans that want us to get relegated. Some people just enjoy being miserable and defeatist. |

It hasn't worked out for the lad, and I'm gutted. We were the wrong club at the wrong time for him. He's a very talented player who is completely bereft of confidence and he joined a mess of a club and a manager who appeared to have no idea how to organise his 24 midfielders. What I don't get is the number of fans who seem genuinely pleased to see him fail. Bizarre. |

Has a good record apart from his stint in Brazil. Compared to some of the other out of work managers he seems decent. |

I'd have Norman Parselle in there, he's a club legend. I'd also not include Mark Aizlewood, he's a scumbag. |
