| News Comment | One Point From Safety ! at 19:53:16
You are all missing the point,SAINTS are safe mathematically as we have 40 points with a superior goal difference If saints lost at home to Stoke we would still have 40 points,if Wigan beat arsenal and go to 38 points and won their last game against villa then they would have 41 points but villa would still have 40 points and be below us.Even if Villa beat Wigan 11-0 which would give them a better goal difference than us then Wigan will go down....Simples we are SAFE.If Villa and Wigan draw then Wigan would have 39 points assuming they beat Arsenal and be relegated. | News Comment | Saints V West Brom The Verdict at 22:51:17
Saints fans have a big part to play in the run in,on saturday the fans were quiet and the songs ......so boring.I listened to the variety of song the WB fans sang and all we sing is Oh when the Saints go marching in (slow) and Pompey songs....last few games, max noise and support the lads. All this negativity, remember promotion from League 1,followed by promotion from the Championship and hopeful first season stay in the Premier.....One life ,live it, only one SFC,Live it,love em... |

I was ashamed listening to those idiots booing. If we had listened to another teams fans boo one of their players , we would rub our hands together and think Christmas had come early. It's interesting to note a distinct lack of comment on this subject from anyone who did boo...perhaps they are only brave in a mob of thugs. |
| News Comment | Saints V Yeovil The Verdict at 17:47:55
Good summary, good 3 points and thats what counts at the moment. Why does NA persist with Lambert. He does not look interested and is lazy.He is second to every ball and his main strength his heading has become mediocre. Kelvin Davis is a very experienced keeper and yet when following instructions to feed the ball out he has not got playing sense that dictates sometimes he may need to just kick it out.Prior to Bialkowski being injured he would have been my first choice, great against Blackpool and good distribution. Lee Barnard did not stop running all night and deserved his hat trick, often Lambert was not up with the play because he had dropped so deep. The reason he drops so deep is because he is hiding, too much work.
