Whenever I read on here that Sam Field is not doing this or not as effective, I always feel that the poster is most likely watching a stream. As at the match you can see how effective he really is off the ball and the work he does I go with my brother and his 2 boys, SA and to several way games, but slowly brother and I are missing more away games due to his age, 78 this year and me 70. If I don't go especially to the home games, I'm sort of lost. I wander about the house or wherever, thinking I should be there, as if my not being there is somehow affecting our performance totally illogical I don't go the pubs after now, the Charlotte on Askew Road was where we use to go after a game, and don't miss that as much But I love going with my great nephews and now my grandson is going to a few games, feels like we are handing the mantle over to another generation As for what I prefer, I will be there tonight, get home early hours of the morning, and if we had won, I still feel great.... if we lost I will tell my good lady..... that's me never again.... where she just walks away knowing full well till the next time. |

The man is good and he seems to have welded using a team that fights fir each other An example of that for me was when Lloyd won a FK and Jimmy literally picked him up and shook the life out of him in saying we'll done But, always a but, he will go, even great managers have a shelf life. My hope though that he and the club have now put us on the road to sustainability, so that when he does go, the new incumbent will seamlessly take over Personally I hope this is not going to happen for a good couple of years. He and his team seem to have a real affinity with the club, that could even be affection. Let's enjoy him while we can and let's enjoy this run. There is definitely something good happening and long may that continue |

Totally agree. What I find amazing is how our 2 young strikers come on as subs and totally change games.... There was a time when you looked at our bench and though oh no..... but now these boys are making an impact and what a great place to be Saiko is just lovable, if there was any player that the whole fan base want to succeed is him... that goal was wonderful for him, and at the end it was a joy to see the team celebrating with him There is something quite special happening here at this club right now... and by god do I love it |

Well that was very much a lovely first half.... looks like both teams are proper gents, not wanting to upset each other by doing something so crass as score a goal... more like old Etonians vs Wanderers... Pretty turgid stuff played with as much tempo as a lament. Defence looks pretty firm, but with all Hull's huff and puff... only one save needed from Nardi, and if that had gone in questions should be asked Chair is a real worry, not sure what this "back injury" was, but he is taking on the Willock mantle, of not being the same player since that injury Edwards possibly our best player, he looks class. Poor Kolli looks leggy and even Smyth looks it Obviously as the away team Marti will be the happier. Should bring Frey on, and Lloyd also, as he would liven us up Hopefully a better 45 to follow |

Have a feeling we will see Frey very soon in the 2nd half.... just not working tonight for young Kolli |

Wouldn't say this is being played at a hight tempo by either team. Looks a typical championship game played in mid Jan after a busy Christmas.... both look knackered |
