Again, agree with you to a point. Think our bossing the midfield only started happening in 2nd half. Against Hull we were bossing everything until they scored. Just think we are pretty fragile in terms of believing we can win a game when we score 1st,and with good reason. Anyway, loving this season and the potential is something else!! |

Eze flatters to deceive?? Did I read that right?? |

Hear you, but I just didn't feel like we'd won it until 4th went in. Dunno if memories of Hull or Luton were in the way or what. Like I tried to say in post, I don't think 3 nil was fair based on our 1st half performance. 3 goals came from individual brilliance rather than team work. Actually think we played better in 1st half against Hull than yesterday??? |

Like everyone else who was there yesterday, am still buzzing. In OS, Eze and Chair, we've truly got players I'd pay to watch as they are everything and more I'd want in my team. I really think it could have been so different though. The memories of Hull so fresh. After we scored my son said to me he hates it when we score so early, and he's right. Our defending without the ball until we scored our 4th was so nervous. If that header had gone in and not off the bar would have been a completely different game. Fact is our 1st 3 goals were created by 2 players in each instance, not really team goals, which is fantastic but didn't reflect our dominance imo. We are best when pressing high, attacking teams, then I don't mind us conceding, it's when we back off and try to defend a lead we fall short. If we can get that right we'll be something very special. BOS my mom by a stretch, and Smithies on their bench??... Mention to Lumleys assist for 3rd,very happy for him |

The way we are playing and the general position we are in terms of youth, style of play etc etc has made life and the lens through which I see life, a much better place. Fck rugby, prem, brexit! Regarding Kelly/Lumley...there is absolutely no favouritism, opinion based upon what I've seen. Kelly is small, for pen he was so busy jumping up and down he forgot to dive, it doesn't seem like he come off he's line much for crosses or corners, and it's as if he's trying too hard? Also against Blackburn he gave ball away in exactly same position as Lumley did against Luton. Only difference was Luton scored. |
| Forum Thread | Question for anyone who at 18:40 19 Oct 2019
watched online or was there. Was Kelly's distribution that much better than Lumleys, that he warrants selection ahead of him? I can only make home games and I need to see Kelly play a few more games before I can have a decent opinion, my gut goes with Lumley cos if he's size, shot-stopping and despite obvious mistakes, I think he's distribution really had improved. And this is not a moaning or negative post, genuinely interested who better keeper is and who'll get shirt. Other than that can't wait till Tuesday and terrified of Eze leaving in Jan and gonna put a fiver on Chair scoring Tues. U Rssss |
| Forum Thread | To boo or not to boo... at 13:36 25 Sep 2019
Comparing some of our threads to Stokes, we do come across as rather a cultured lot! And as worried about the environment as I am, Saturday has got me much more nervous. Also, can't remember a game where so many of my liked ex player's will be in starting line-up for opposition. I was upset when we sold Darnell, not just cos I thought he had tremendous potential as a really polished CB and RB, but also cos of he's Dad and that goal. What a night! Then there's Charlie, and how fantastic he was for us, fact he stayed when he could have left will always endear me. And for season before he left Matty Philips was often my standout player. I guess I'm hoping they don't get booed. Saying all that, sod's law one of em will score... Anyway, so happy with how we are playing atm wouldn't want em back anyway... U rss |

So happy for Warburton and entire squad to have won on Saturday. Was genuinely worried that all the positive football, the possession, the relief and joy of FINALLY watching a team that play how we're supposed to. Add Chair, Eze, Manning, Bright AND Lumley, and it means I'm more optimistic about the season than I've been for years. I sit in Upper loft and the amount of verbal siht that was coming out the mouths from people behind me was unreal. Also, every time we lost possession it started again. Who are these people. I love what and how we're trying to do and play and I'll save any criticism for places like this. I'm not sure that Ball and Scowen should be in same starting 11.Granted it was only 1st or 2nd start for Ball but I thought he was by far our worst player. Also, it seems like Scowen is trying too hard. All that being said, watching Chair and Eze in same side is something special and beautiful made even more so by fact that they are homegrown. Love my team atm and can't wait for Wednesday then Wednesday |

And I just want to add, I was there when Furlong scored against Oldham, probably the best football LR experience of my life, and having Darnell in the team looking so good and so smooth just keeps the blue bloodline going. Cross between Paul Parker and Des walker! |

I sit in upper loft with my son and like someone else had said, there were lots of "new" people around us. It wasn't just Ingram it was every time we lost the ball or had to defend for more than 30 sec. The abuse and vitriol towards our own was quite something. I spent a lot of time explaining to my son that these people probably had very unhappy home lives and had nowhere else to go. Hearing these dicks get on Cousins and Ezes case when something doesn't come off is just so pathetic. I saw Cousin's against Reading and he had a much better game. I really see potential just have to be honest with myself and ask whether it's because I want him to do well that I see it(?!). Anyway, next game can't come quick enough and i can't remember last time I felt so so good about what's actually happening on and off pitch. Strangely enough, without the embargo I don't think we'd have the amount of youngsters coming through and we wouldn't have the best team (squad) spirit we've had in ages. Just psses me off others can't see it. |

Greetings all. Used to post on here years ago during Lee cook times. Been season ticket since mid late 90s. Just back from game and am so so proud and happy. Absolutely in love with my team ATM. O.sam had a m.o.m performance as did Furlong imo. How amazing to have so many youth players come through. Only annoying thing is the amount of vile shouted at our own players by home fans. The amount of shte Ingram took after that mistake was just disgusting, Leeds support was pretty amazing though. Anyway, cherishing these moments U rsss |
