New Year transfer window rumours on 00:14 - Feb 4 with 1182 views | CroydonCaptJack | Maybe that's why we've been able to sign him. Very strange to wait till 11pm though. Pandering to the Sky overlords I guess. A bit pathetic that A good window overall though. Plenty of young talent and we've kept Jimmy.

For the full-on Rangers experience he'd be out for the rest of the season but we'd have got him on loan.

And not a penny spent in England. Because their industrial puppy farming complex can snaffle any emerging young talent for free. I would love to see a projection of the careers of young players in the premiership academies - how many have decent careers now, how many would have if their was more 'natural selection' at a young age, with many of the kids playing 3 yard passes in the sanctified climes of the academies instead ploughing a furrow for their local teams. And how much more money would flow down the leagues if that actually happened. Britain's 'soft power' 🤔

Yeah. Off the top of my head these puppy farms seem to benefit the elite - your Cole Palmers - who are likely to break into the first team of these puppy farm clubs. But not much anything below that who just seem to miss out on the chance of regular men's football for one club which can really develop them e.g. Ashby.
New Year transfer window rumours on 08:17 - Feb 4 with 480 views | dmm | This has been a strange January transfer window for us. We were quick out of the blocks - unusual in itself - with a CB on loan from Soton. Then nothing until the last few days when we get another loan - a Spuds lad who's just arrived from South Korea. In the last minutes of the window we have a young Brazilian that Barca wanted, and a player from North Battersea, who is crocked for the rest of the season and who last season was managed by the most hated ex-R in the history of our club. Dixon-Bonner is a good example. He's probably got more years then professional football appearances.

And yet, I still fancy we'd depart the Etihad with at the very least a point and a clean sheet.

Yes, spot on. Very neat and tidy but doesn't seem to have much dynamism. He plays like he's not that fussed about winning or losing.
