No money has been stolen apart from that taken by the PO under false pretences .
There could be a case made out for crimininal proceedings
Money has clearly been taken from postmaster and postmistresses .

In some countries the actual code developer can be charged by the police if the code they have written is proven to be at fault for causing an offence. Certainly in Poland they can.

"without prejudice" that is the important part for me because the very senior management had prejudice in this case. They wanted the innocent found guilty to protect themselves.

The issue I have here is why does it take a tv program to highlight corruption and criminality at its very worst. This vile event and the fact those guilty are still walking the streets epitomises how far our country has fallen when it comes to bringing the culprits to justice.
Post office workers and their families have had their lives ruined and still they do not receive justice. How unforgivable is that. | |

I followed it over the years and it, along with other scandals such as the contaminated blood cases circa 1970’s gives me no faith in our justice system. This series gives a small insight into how it operates. I find it very upsetting. | |
