Strikes me as the type, esp at this stage in his career to totally embrace Swansea, in so many ways. To want to make it work for him, his young family, and us ultimately.

I agree but there was much more movement today and he did still revert to the side or back pass when he could have moved the ball on. Maybe he has got too used to it or just not quick enough. |  |

Cryus is probably on £20k+ per week. He is out of contract in June.
He will be looking for more of the same but will not get it. SCFC will be in the frame.

b) Covid loses have to be accommodated and most clubs are economising.
c) There will be a crop of promising full backs coming out of academies cheaper (e.g. Laird)
d) Players wanting bigger pay have compromised like Ntcham.

Many here think the Playoffs are within reach.
If that's the ambition, the likes of Cyrus are a must.
It will be interesting to see how the remainder of the Transfer Window plays out. More signings of the calibre of Cyrus will speak volumes.

In fairness though, Christie is an experienced, confident player. I feel we need to pull out all the stops to sign him.
Latibeaudiere by comparison is still learning, but I feel he will be a valuable member of the team as he gets more experienced.
If Martin can pull off a couple more signings this window and shift those like Dhanda, Obafemi, and one or two others who clearly don't figure in his plans, could be an exciting few months | |
