Pinching Jane’s theme and flipping it. Who are your favourite film characters?

I adore Mrs Wilberforce from the Ladykillers, she makes me feel cosy and safe uncomplicated.

Just so cute 😍

The legend Freddy Krueger.

Lisbeth Salander (played by Noomi Rapace) from the three Swedish films based on Stieg Larsson's Millennium series.

Lala

The first film in the series "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" is very good, the next two "The Girl Who Played with Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest" were made for TV films. Picked up the DVD box set a few years ago for £5.

The books are very good as well, not got around to reading the next (last?) two books in the series yet.

The sort of question where I could give a different answer every day of the week.

Today, I'll go for Begby from Trainspotting.

Begbie, favourite character spell?

A truly terrifying psychopath?

Bumped into one or two like Begbie (perhaps a notch or two below) in my yoof - I guess we all probably did.

You took it in your stride then; would scare me to death now...

Yes, Begbie was funny parody of a nasty character.

No, no, no to meeting someone like that in real life.
