Definitely the right move; he has to get out of Villa back to a club like Brentford where he will be first choice, where I think he does guarantee at least 15 goals in a full season if he stays fit.
Wonder if we get a chunk of this fee as well? Some sell-on clauses include a percentage of every future transfer fee, don't know if this was us or not.

For me on a personal note this could only have been worse if it had been Burnley

Makes sense, Warburton signed him at Brentford. Although he played his best football under Dean Smith who then couldn't get him to click at Villa. He certainly needs games and hopefully goals will follow.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

I don't understand why you mention Warburton?

Obviously had he signed for QPR it would have made complete sense!

We can but hope that he rediscovers his scoring form and Villa sell him on for a profit!!!

Its games he needs, and a manager prepared to give him the time to make an impact; the rest will follow because one thing Hogan has is ability to find the back of net
