Had a little look at the videos there are of him.
Not much to go on.
- Played his youth football at Anderlecht
- Had a season on loan in Serie B
- Played 12 games for Chievo in Serie A last year and has played 11 so far this year (which indicates he is forcing his way into their 1st team)
- Allegedly Inter Milan are watching him....they will be watching hundreds.
- The positives are; Strong runner, instinct is to get forward, frequently trying through balls (some of which come off), likes a shot and usually gets it on target.
- He is only 21 and seems to be a potential replacement for Ki/Fer, a box to box midfielder.
....What his all round game is like is impossible to tell without watching him play half-a-dozen 90mins.
Whether he is somebody worth getting in for a season in the Championship depends on too many factors to list (the final decision should be down to whomever is going to manage us for the next 2/3 years, not some suit in a boardroom) but it would appear that he would be a player we could sign on the cheap as he only has 1 year left on his contract this summer. |  |
