Sometimes a player just "fits" with a club.
That easily could be Davies at Dale.

It's more than just about earning a living, isn't it.
You're a footballer, sat at home with the missus and young kids and thinking: am I enjoying what I'm doing? There'll be a few premier league players on really big money who'll not be feeling too great about themselves.
I reckon Davies will be feeling good about himself right now. He's played at bigger clubs, and maybe found he wasn't quite at the level that would've taken him into the big league but he wants to play for a team that can play to his strengths - where he can be the guy who everyone respects. Early doors, he may have had his doubts about the move. Now, he'll be happy, probably excited and dying to reach full fitness.
He knows he's got something and that if he gets the chances HE WILL SCORE
We've been crying out on this messageboard for just such a player since Hilly came back. Before then, we had Alfie, Daggers, COG. Davies is easily in the same league. |  |
