I just can't believe Wales Online have produced a story about somebody editing Wikipedia! Surely they realise that this kind of 'joke' happens all the time! They're supposed to be a national newspaper! |

Looks like our friend Simon Gaskell edited his piece 10 mins after being mentioned as incorrect on here - after previously been standing there completely untouched since publication, i think the notion that these berks trawl these sites (and wikipedia it seems) for stories may just hold some weight... For the record it appears that Jorge Sampaoli was in Miami to have a minor op on his knee done by a Cuban specialist. He suffers, like a lot of ex sportsmen with knee problems.
On return to Chile he will meet with the newly appointed head of the Chilean FA and an announcement will be made this evening about whether he will stay as national coach or not. He will then head to Switzerland . | | | |

And just to keep track of events as they unfold, it would appear that Sampaoli has made a decision to make no decision and remains damaged and hurt following accusations of possible financial tooings and froings during the Copa America 2015 and the damage caused to Chile by the previously and allegedly corrupt regime. Meanwhile the newly elected board of the Chilean FA says they respect his decision to be hurt and will agree to what he wants but will enforce his contract which they have in writing.
So that's not a Mexican but a Chilean Standoff then. It is honestly doubtful he could manage Cross Hands at the moment let alone Chile or Swansea I suspect. | | | |
