People look back and think Palace was a terrible draw, and while it could have been much better I remember the excitement around the town and thousands travelling down. Once you get to the stage we're at, it starts to be as much about how far you can get as who you draw.
Palace played Cambridge after beating us, so that could* have been Div 4 v Div 4 for a place in the semis.

Hopefully they'll go bust again soon. How would they have compensated for that £1m overspend had they not won today? Fair enough a million isn't a huge amount in the world of football, but a million pounds in the red is still a million pounds, or a negative equity as Flicker might say. Obviously BCFC have not learned any lessons from the past. |  |
