Not quite as comfortable as the scoreline suggests. Certainly in the first half this was a pretty even battle and our defence was stretched on a number of occasions. Giving Bannon as much room as he could want in midfield didn't seem a good idea and Kakay's positioning seemed a bit out, but not as 'out' as Barbet and Wallace when Wednesday scored. Windass had the penalty area pretty much to himself.

The second half was better. Bannon had less room and Johansen and Willock were finding cute angles and passes. Dykes an obvious MotM for two terrific headers, the first won't be bettered this season. And good to see Johansen get on the score sheet, not least because I had a fiver at 5-1! I thought Willock's goal was offside, but we haven't had many iffy decisions go our way lately. Maybe Kakay's earlier penalty area challenge was another one.

So on to Rotherham. According to everything we know about Rs we should fail to turn up and give them an easy three points in their relegation battle. But I think there are signs of toughness and resilience in this team now so I might have another fiver on Dykes keeping his scoring run going.

They have some good players and were much better than either the scoreline or their season suggested. Bannon is so difficult to pick up (mark). Can't believe he has signed a new contract to, barring a complete set of results, play in league one. How many of the others will stay? We did well in the end to keep playing our way and 'get our rewards'.
