Adkins was disappointing - no imagination...same meaningless passing with minutes to go. Frustrating

Not quite as poor as last week but I'm still trying to work out what the game plan was, I think Cisse and Traore are too, Apart from " keep it away from Rob Green" there seemed to be no other instruction to the back four and those in the middle had a different plan to the strikers altogether.
We looked like we are one league too high most of the time yesterday , the lack of organisation from the bench is puzzling, frustrating and simply unacceptable.

Traore was most to blame for that goal. He just stood there and then when he did move he was 3 steps behind Jackson. Although our whole defence is still poor, by the end of the September we will be bottom of the league with a tragic goal difference if some players don't step up; and manager/coaching staff. We have games against Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham. I honestly thought with all the attacking players we have, we would at least be scoring goals. Matches should be ending 3-3 well that's what I predicted for the first 2 games. Any news on Faurlin? Last I heard he was getting fit; I take it just not match fit? The only positives from the two games has been Hoilett and Mackie. Cisse I thought would have scored by now. Park and Diakite have been ok.

A really porr performance. The scoreline reflects the fact that we have better finishers but Stevenage were otherwise just as good, if not better than us last night. Our support was really flat too. All in all a crap game.

A game in which Dale seemed to stay in first gear. Barnet were poor. At the end it felt like I'd been to watch a pre season game.

However two forwards scored to shut the moaners up for a few minutes. Dale got three points and moved up the table.

3 points and a clean sheet must be good for the confidence, Adebola was MOTM by a country mile...

Brave performance against the champions. Could have nicked a draw before city's fortunate clincher. Need to a win sharpish and the next game would do just fine.

Could have been 2-2 , could have been 6-1. One of those games!

But an improvement over Swansea and Norwich performances.

Wasnt impressed by the Johnson - Zamora partnership even though it brought us the goal. Dyer was OK, Granero looks very good and his spot kicks best we have had all season. Green not as bad as before but still looks very nervous - I still think he will be gone in January.

I remain very positive about this season. Give this team 2 more weeks and things should start to be happening for us
