Fantastic match - best this season. Vic was MOTM easily but I thought JWP was absolutely superb - he and Tadic really understand each other (did you see that little sequence of one-twos down the wing?).

Davis brilliant, Bertrand brilliant, Gardos brilliant (and well lucky), Toby brilliant, team effort brilliant. People say Arsenal were crap but that's because we made them look crap.

VERY happy to have to eat my words about Mané - he's bloody BRILLIAAAANT!!!

Some stand-out performances in defence with everyone contributing. Victor held the whole thing together in the middle and on a yellow for 70mins (unjustly) which is amazing. JWP involved in both goals I think. Steve D never stopped. Sadio was on fire, amazing goal. Pelle's link play was good, but he REALLY needs to stick the ball in the net. Harrison Reed is clearly a Duracell Bunny in disguise and can think, tackle and pass.

Re: Saints in exile, Theo never plays against us, I think he was happy we won. Alex shows a worrying lack of loyalty by looking like he's trying to score against us and why does Callum get booed, what did he do different?

Professional win, with better finishing it coulda been ugly for the Arsenal

Green very lucky not to be sent off
We needed to take one of the plenty of chances we had after taking the lead.
Charlie Austin has looked tired and out of sorts the past few games.
Glad Bony did not start the game.
Happy to take a point against Swansea although disappointing the way the game ended.

Very happy with the result. Forest were dreadful though, set pieces for them in particular were a shambles.

Plenty of Swans support, a good atmosphere in the away end. 9 changes made by Monk, but there was only one team in it for the majority of the game. Tranmeres goals were a mistake by Tremmel, and poor marking for their 2nd. The Swans took their chances well, Gomis looking hungry and strong, and Tiendalli stepping into the left back slot to put pressure on Taylor for a starting place. Some of the young lads showed some positive signs, I am sure a few will feature more as the season goes on.Routledge came on midway through the second half and did well on the left, causing problems for the home defence. Carroll had a solid game in midfield, will surely be in the starting line up next week.
All in all, a good solid performance by the team, and a well deserved win.

Abject and humiliating performance. Sheff Utd passed the ball well, usually to someone with the same colour shirt in contrast to the Rs, and showed pace and mobility. The most worrying thing was it looked like Harry wanted to win given the substitutions he made.

The whole team were poor. Only ones worth this weeks wages were possibly Phillips and Vargas.

But I should have known and stayed at home on a brass monkey of a day. Can't be worse away to Burnley... can we?? Err think I may know the answer to that.

Made the right decision today and stayed at home, didn't see a cup shock happening, that is QPR actually winning. Our FA cup record over the years is truely awful, why do we even bother. Most of the players couldn't be bothered either, a mate had my ticket who supports Dagenham & Redbridge, and we reasons even they would have beaten us today. Just the league relegation battle to look forward to now, how do we improve our away form. I don't honestly think Arry knows what to do, the players just look beaten before the end of the game on our travels. We have a chronic shortage of striking options and he was wasting money on Sandro and McCarthy rather than bringing in another striker before the season started. Now he needs to bring at least two loanee strikers in but the whole squad looks poor. Today showed that, no one out of the first team really making a case for a starting position. It looks grim at the moment and with WBA and Palace likely to see an improvement in form under new managers I just can't see 3 clubs below us come end of season. By the way, Happy New Year to all Rss fans, sorry to be such a miserable git.

The performance wasn't that bad but Ipswich were well organised and decided to play for the draw in th second half. If we were guilty of anything it was over playing the flicks etc in the final third when at times being a bit more direct may have produced a better result. I think we will win the replay as Ipswich will come out and play a bit more so there will be more space to exploit.

I think these are the lowest player ratings I've ever given. Hoilett a 3!! MOTM today was Henry omly because he kept it very simple and played his role as a defensive centre mid reasonably well. He was by no means spectacular and had a minimal influence on the game but he was cleRly our best player. Ferdinand was really surprisingly bad. Pace gone and lacked any authority at the back. Very frustrating and sad to watch.
