Saints Issue Sparta Prague Ticket Information Wednesday, 16th Nov 2016 09:21 Saints have issued the information to supporters about picking up tickets for the Sparta Prague game next week in the Europa League. Saints supporters will only have the day of the match to pick up their tickets meaning, assuming those on the club's official trip get their tickets on the plane that the club have the task of dishing out around 1,500 tickets between 9.30am and 5pm on the day of the game. If we consider that given that every Saints fan has to pick up his ticket in person with his photo ID, be ticked off on the list and issued with said ticket and that will take a minute per person, that would suggest that the task will take around 25 man hours. There is of course the chance that it will take longer than a minute per person and that along with the fact that everyone will not turn up at neat one minute intervals over the course of the day could mean that there may be some time spent queueing. Hopefully Saints will provide enough staff to deal with possible congestion, given the actual hours needed they will need at least five collection points for tickets. The venue to pick them up is a restaurant in the centre of Prague called U Supa, some may raise eyebrows about 1,500 people descending on a restaurant in one day, but many restaurants in Prague have fairly substantial dining areas and U Supa does seem to have a large upstairs area where presumably the ticket collection area will be to avoid those trying to eat in the main restaurant area downstairs. One piece of advice, U Supo is a brewery as well as a restaurant, however the prices for beer seem to be about twice the price of other bars in Prague, 55CK for .4L of Staropramen being well above the 30-35CK price range for the larger .5L measures sold in most of the other bars. The key to getting a ticket swiftly and with little queueing will be avoiding the rush hour periods which will be a little hard to predict. The collection period starts at 9.30am in the morning and there will be many Saints fans in Prague on Wednesday or earlier, I would say it would be busy in the morning, but the traffic won't pick up till lunchtime, then it will be hectic. There is no precedent to advise on this other than to say i would suggest the earlier the better, there will be a number of Saints supporters coming in on Thursday morning fights, they won't arrive in the City Centre till around noon and that in itself could create a log jam. The ticket information issued by the club is in simple terms. 1. Collection time is 9.30am till 5pm local time. 2.
