Pompey Game Completely Sold Out Thursday, 5th Apr 2012 17:09 Southampton Football Club have officially confirmed that the first home league derby with Portsmouth is a complete sell out in all home areas. Saints have announced that Saturday's game with old rivals Pompey is sold out in all home areas and that fans without tickets should not travel to the game, however with a number of tickets to be collected on the day due to the "no posting" rule, the club are advising supporters not to leave it late prior to the game to collect tickets to avoid chaos at the ticket office. Its unclear whether Pompey will have their full allocation sold, they havent confirmed that they have sold their entire allocation, their website saying there are a couple of hundred or so left, although the news item is a bit dated now, however with no updates its assumed that perhaps they havent. Also as of Wednesday Afternoon around 150 supporters who had purchased the voucher for a ticket had not booked coach travel despite the deadline to do so being extended twice, like when Saints travelled in the bubble to the game at Fratton, going on the coaches is the only way to pick up the tickets, so its seems that a number of Pompey fans have thought better of going to the game for whatever reason.
