QPR face a decent start, and a nightmare finish
QPR face a decent start, and a nightmare finish
Friday, 17th Jun 2011 09:07 by LFW

While there can be no easy games in the Premiership for QPR this season, the R's will not be unhappy with the start the fixture computer has presented them with.

Rangers will start with a home match against Bolton on Saturday, August 13, before travelling to notoriously slow starters Everton and Wigan and then returning to London to face Newcastle.

That is in stark contrast to the season's end which has a daunting look about it for a team that may be in need of points to survive. Rangers finish with Spurs home, Chelsea away, Stoke home and big spending Man City away.

The draconian, money grabbing rules of Dataco mean that LFW is not allowed to show you a list of dates (which can apparently be copyrighted) so for the full list you'll have to log on to the official website for the full list.

Last 4 aways looks even more daunting with a trip to Old Trafford then WBA/SCUM/Citeh.

Only 2 night games.

thanks to chris1969 on the message board....

Checked out the Champions league weeks and we only have Chelsea in October and no other top four teams until the later stages.

These games will not be on the Saturday due to Champions league.

Chelsea (H)
Arsenal (H)
Man Utd (A)
Chelsea (A)

Other games which will probably be moved from the Saturday due the Europa league are

Tottenham (A)
Stoke (A)
Fulham (H)

So we get to do a Blackpool?

(Ok, if we must go down, let's play the open, attractive, attacking football that Blackpool tried for.)

I'm not assuming a lost cause, but, damn, I want to see a sh*tload more commitment to strengthening the squad than we've seen to date.

champions league weeks depends what days they play, if Chelsea play on a tuesday we can play on the saturday although that will probably be a tv game so moved anyway

It's pretty unlikely, but the nightmare scenario is getting relegated at Stamford Bridge on third last day of the season...

DataCo... the reason so many non-profit fan sites and prediction competitions had to shut down... simply could not afford the fees.
