Bit over rated the supporters in the north east from my experience! Loud at the moment but can hear a pin drop when not so good ! Saints fans have suffered lately and there is nerves still in th ground , but they do get behind the team ( apart from a few usual negative people that seem to disappear of social media until a bad day lol) |

It is a fact that negative people are more likely to comment on social media in all subjects !
The last game of the season against Liverpool was a really positive atmosphere at st Mary's and nearly everyone stood to stand up if you love the saints ! Even klopp was surprised with our support !
Looking forward to the new season ! With be a tough start though |

i actualy reckon there are thousands of fans that just go to one or two games a season! I know at least four people that have been to only a couple of games!

When you say about 50,000 going to Wembley it makes me wonder how many different people have gone to a game this season! ie- Some people go to one game in four or one game in three and some just go to a handfull of games cos of commitments etc! Its not the same 25000 each game is what im saying! It would be interesting to see how close it is to 50,000! Also interested to see how many people are on the database!!!!

To the Derby supporter ( Kcaj1164retsof) Derby just ave 26000 pretty good so if saints ave over 25000 thatl do me! Only about 3 clubs will average over 25000 !! Also wasnt impressed by Derbys away support especialy when we played them in the pay offs! We had moree go away in the midweek game!! Got to stick up for the saints support as i think it can be great!!!!! |

I went to the event on saturday and enjoyed it but i can see why people didnt go! They like people to get there tickets before the day which is what i did and it cost me 19 quid not 16 !! It is different this year to a couple of years ago as then it was a huge relief that the club had been saved and also season tickets were less and people are worse of now than then! well i am anyway! money doesnt grow on trees!!! I know some people will be watching there pennys more now than this time last year! They say we are coming out of recession but for alot of people its just starting ! Alot of trades are suffering! Interest rates are low which is good for mortgages but there isnt much work around as alot of people are getting less income because of the interest rates and so are not spending! ! Ill only go to the big cup games ( i do have a season ticket) ! I actualy think that the support has been brilliant this year, how many premiership clubs would average over 21000 in the third tier????? |
