Kolli showed more ability in 45 minutes to me than Sinclair did in 64 games. Kolli is our next big gem. |

Good game to watch especially the first half and last twenty mins.
Great atmosphere for a friendly and the Spurs fans played their part.
We were unlucky not to score a few on the day. Blinding saves from Kolli first half and Dykes second half.
Players in general did well. They looked fit and we had an identity and style of play early in pre season. Not sure about the short goal kicks though, generally got ourselves into trouble. Thought the out ball to Dunne on the right worked better.
Two stars of the show for me:- Nardi who was exceptional with both feet and made a few great saves. He could be premiership class on that display. And then Kolli he was really exciting. A big unit for a flair player, some great moments and he looks like a star. I hope we don’t loan him out and we just give him a chance.
Cook was class he is such an important player for us. Probably the best centre half we’ve had in years. Clarke salter also very good and composed.
Not wanting to be negative but Santos was poor, he looked like he needed time to get used to the team and the league. He has technical ability but I think he may take 6 months to show his true potential. Dixon bonner is one who flatters to deceive for me. He’s not a first choice championship level centre mid in my view. Anderson as much as I love the character is very very one paced and it was very evident today.
Overall a good game, good performance but a few things to work on. [Post edited 20 Jul 20:03]

Great read as always. Agree with most although I think Willock was lucky to get away with a C/D. He really should be performing as well as Chair based on ability. I’m hopeful he’s leaving to be honest, best for both parties now IMO - I won’t miss him. |

Far from the worst keeper we’ve had in recent years. I think people have been overly harsh on the guy because of the Chelsea link.
We do need someone who fits the style of play better next season but he has pulled off some really vital saves this year in what has been a really hard year |

I thought he was absolutely terrible. Missed a stonewall penalty. Let Brady get away with countless fouls. Only bonus was that he got plenty wrong that also helped us. |

He’s dreadful.
He doesn’t have a clue what he is doing tactically or positionally. He stands out every time he plays as looking hopelessly lost.
He only has a left foot, he has zero strength, zero pace.
He also doesn’t have the mentality to get better - he was off training again last week.
His attitude isn’t going to buy him any time with fans.
Sometimes you just have to look at the facts and say he was an awful signing and offers nothing to this team. |
