Manager has to take a lot of the blame for Friday. On another day though it would have been a different game had we taken one of those chances. A note on PEH, I personally don’t think he’s played particularly well all season so far. Out shone convincingly by Romeu and struggled to have an impact on any of the games. |

I want to see us have a go at teams like we did under MP and RK. Sadly we can't do that anymore as we are a team of 6 out of 10s. It's sad to see but getting men behind the ball and trying to nick a goal is the tactic both Puel and Pellegrino believe best fits the players we have. The feel good factor followed us because we would take the game to the big teams and played good attaching football. Now we are just another West Brom, Burnley, Stoke and no longer the best of the rest. I don't know what to suggest, does anyone believe a new manager will solve the problem? And who would we get? |

The manager may well be out of his depth, however doesn't this game show exactly what our problems are.. the players! We have so many players, who turn up one game in every 6, who play the ball around nicely but who don't score goals and don't provide assists.
It's all very well calling for a change in manager, but who will come in and replace him? It will inevitably be another Puel/ Pellegrino.. that's what we do, and I doubt anyone would welcome a Tony Pulis anyway. |

Nick you say it's not a bad squad but the reality is two managers have failed to get the results and performances required. I don't think it's as easy as a change in manager, we have a very average premier league squad and a team who will struggle to score the goals required given the current personnel. |

I do genuinely feel for the board, we have made a stand with Virgil, but the reality is it would have made more sense to sell him and buy a midfielder who can create and score goals. I've said it before, Davis, JWP, Lemina, PEH, Tadic, Romeu, Redmond. No consistent goal scorers in there and apart from Tadic (who has started poorly) no players who can really pick a forward pass. |

I've said it before, I can't see the club taking another clubs young player and putting them ahead of a Josh Simms for the future gain of another club, and the detriment of ours (long term). The sad story of this season was summed up today for me on TalkSPORT! Adrian Durham compared us with West Brom and called us out for a negative and boring style of play! We have worked hard for 8 years to get a reputation as a good footballing side, with a clear style. We have never been afraid to have a go at the big teams and take the game to them. If you can't dare to dream against the big teams, what hope do you have as a supporter of teams outside the top 6? |

No saints fan is convinced we will kick on next year that is the problem. With this manager and the reality that we will lose VVD and Bertrand. I can see another summer like 2014 and fear losing the likes of Cedric, Romeu, Tadic etc. The reality is investment is needed to convince the players to stay and that they could move forward with us!
