Can you be specific about how Swansea would be better off without the Assembly? Probably not. Just like how the ridiculous anti EU feelings shows people love to have a tantrum and blame the wrong organisation. |

If only Brexit voters would take their heads out of their arses and look at evidence. People trying to take away my rights and then telling me to stop moaning can do one. |

Democracy is not having a campaign where one side broke the law several times and lied throughout. |

And yet Wales would have received 300-400 million a year if it was classed as an English region. We get short changed and then people are 'amazed' when people like me believe Westminster never have and never will have our best interests at heart. It's a past time across the border reminding the little simple Welsh people that we couldn't survive without them. In that case they can do us a favour and send over the correct amount. |

There is nothing crazy about this case because this is the slippery slope we are going down. If you can be jailed for calling an Asian person a certain name then the same must apply everywhere. You can't just pick and choose which groups of people you can and can't abuse. Personally I think if we are going down this route then we shouldn't bother teaching children sticks and stones. The idea that someone could be locked up for calling somone by a certain name amazes me. |

Agreed. There are some tidy people in Cardiff but it's a shame that the city is enjoyed by a majority who are deluded, narrow minded, 'look at us we are the capital' egits. |

Some of these comments are way off the mark. Like any club they have their knuckle dragging baffoons but they also have far more decent fans. They took 80,000 to Seville and won awards for their behaviour. They also have many fans who are part of anti-facist campaigns. Not all of them are violent IRA worshipers. I've heared bigotry down the liberty does that mean we are all scummy racists? |

It's true that the regions are a mess at the moment but scrapping them all together would cause an even bigger mess. It is old men in suits trying to cling onto power causing the issue. Are some of you seriously suggesting that the fact Welsh rugby saw vast improvements on the pitch at the same time the regions were created is a coincidence? Currently people have split loyalties between the clubs but the next generation will only know the regions and so attendances will go up. |

Is this guy on the Cardiff city forum by any chance. I'm sure I've seen this level of delusion before. |
| Forum Reply | The Welsh Assembly (Government) at 22:42 10 Aug 2014
Talking of nonsense, apparently academies and free schools are driving up standards. Lets forget about the countless examples of nepotism, expenses scandals and special measures. Privatizing education is an evil ideology that will create more division, inequality and teachers less accountable. Clearly some people on here are for leaving thousands of children behind. Comprehensives are designed to give everyone a fair chance. Anyone who suggests they are shit schools for the majority is a disgrace and need to do their homework. In my year alone people have left to be doctors, lawyers, vets, engineers, professional rugby players and play for the Swans. I for one am very relieved that Westminster doesn't run Welsh education. |

Totally agree with some of the posts here. Lets scrap the WAG so we can go back to the days of having clueless fools control our educations system so that inequality may grow and unqualified teachers can teach our children. I want a government totally out of touch with the general public who spend huge sums of money on pally secret advisers. If you believe the WAG thinks Wales ends at Cardiff, I hate to break it to you but Westminster has been doing that for years. |

To the tune of the Only Fools and Horses intro; He put the Cardiff in his pocket And then he forced them to rebrand Cos if you want investment and you don't ask questions Then Vince Tan, he's your man Now where it all comes from is a mystery Does it come from the girls or the oil industry They sold their soul and now the club is dead In the premier league but play in red Nananana na |
