Problem is if we lose to Stoke which is quite probable are you going to get a lot of vocal support for the manager? I'm not sure you will

They did review it but as both players were puling shirts nothing was given
They review everything on VAR but unlike the premier league they don't tend to stop the game for a few minutes when they do it |

Yes that's something he needs to work on and he's clearly targeted by refs now but his overall play was so good at times, that cross for the 5th goal was brilliant |

You don't win a trophy but it helps you get seeded for the World Cup and Euro qualifiers
Top 2 of the top level go into a knockout tournament next summer with a trophy to win which would be nice to win one day
I quite enjoy the Nations league, gives you games with something on it, more competitive than the qualifiers usually as well
I thought England were decent again and good that so many new players got a game and a few of them took their chance well. Bellingham was really good again for England |

He did a good job but the wheels well and truly came off that 3rd season and before the injuries came in. If you look back a lot of the wins were narrow ones which could have gone the other way and that eventually turned to losing close games instead.
I'm not sure he'd have lasted long into that 4th season if he had stayed, he'd already fallen out with the board and the DOF and was starting to lose fans but we'll never know |

yeah nothing will happen to Nourry. As much as I love Les Ferdinand he should have gone a good 18 months before he did and even when he went it was him resigning rather than them doing anything, I don't think the owners are even aware of what the problems are
The 2 likely outcomes are we pick up form, stick with Marti and he sees out the season or we lose the next 2 games, he gets the sack and the new manager quickly wins fans over by winning the odd game |

oh yeah not knocking him and you see whats happened since it shows what a good job he did but it wasn't perfect and that 1st and 3rd season with us given the players we had it did feel like an under achievement in the end even though it probably wasn't
I just thought he bent the truth a bit about pressure from above to reach the playoffs when he was very clear in saying that should be the aim that season |

I did find his comments about high expectations for the playoffs a bit odd as it was him going into that season who kept saying we should be expecting to finish top 6 and thats our aim so thats what he was judged on and 13th was nowhere near in the end |

He always came across well in interviews and does so here. I do think that summer was the right time to change managers even with hindsight, he'd done a good job but it was going wrong and it was only a matter of time before it fell away

I found when my son was that age he found it pretty embarrassing to support QPR and we had similar levels of him pitying me and not wanting to go but he's 15 now and loves it even though we're rubbish he loves the atmosphere, the chance to shout at referees and travel the country.
Not sure how long that will last though as he groaned when i told him the watford tickets had arrived today |
