A matter of days ago we were vilifying these players, now we are lauding them to the high heavens.
But, we are human and our emotions are up and down like an elbow at opening time.
That's the way it should be I guess.
Without the troughs we would not enjoy the peaks and that's all the cliches I can cram in. Enjoy !

I didn't know this - Brighton's home game v Brentford had to be moved from Boxing Day to the 27th, because when they were given planning permission for their new stadium to be built there was a stipulation that there would be no carparks.
The shuttlebus company doesn't operate on Boxing Day, so no match.
Oh ps…the ground is 5 miles outside town.

Sounds like I would have liked him. I only really listened to John Peel.
My all time favourite was Mary Costello on Radio London. She played some great, eclectic music. All sorts. I won quite a few albums on her quiz.
Anyone know what she does now ? I think she was Elvis Costello's sister.
