Thierry Henry doing a fantastic critique of Arsenal and City’s passing style on MNF - why turn around and go backwards. Wingers turning round instead of having a go, ball ending up back in own half. Why? If he rips Arsenal and City apart what would he make of Jim’s teams. The worm is definitely turning on this drivel football. |

Agreed, but you and I agreeing, is meaningless. Because neither of us are the managing Co-chairman or in a position to influence him. The problem is with arrogant people, is they don’t have to deal with things like perceived naivety, they just motor on until at some point reality bites. So we are talking about Cameron Ogden, who is hoping Gauge and McNulty can hold the fort while he sorts out the money. At some point he’s going to have a realisation that the local dream team is just not up to it and he’ll have to get his hands dirty. But in the meantime it’s going to be same old same old. Falling asleep while eating popcorn is inadvisable. |

Indeed, Dale fans are extremely patient. And similarly, Jim NcNulty is very very lucky to have a three year contract, with the full support of the board, and little or no dissent from a largely impassive fan base and he receives virtually no media criticism or questioning of any aspect of his performance as head coach of Rochdale football club. As long as Simon Gauge is the managing Chairman, Jim will continue - irrespective of results on the pitch or whether anyone other than Simon Gauge thinks it resembles entertainment, Jim McNulty will be the head coach. I would say fasten your seatbelts, but no seatbelts required for this ride. |

Indeed, an excellent communication. It may have been useful for the club to have foreseen concern and to have provided at the time the date was rearranged. A question arising though, Chairman? Or Chairmen? SG and CO listed as Directors, who actually chairs the Board (meetings)? |

Your second paragraph is what worries me. The GS is key to securing the long term future of the club. Why the delay?? |

As they are finding out down the road at Old Trafford, having billionaires in charge of football clubs is not without problems. The ETH debacle, Dan Ashworths hiring then firing in five months, poor recruitment and miserable cost cutting - all show that the business world isn’t best placed to run something as complex as a football club, particularly one like Dale which were told has community club aspirations. There was considerable push back on the original date and time and the decision to delete the Q&A, but the club has in effect doubled down on the bad decision. Worrying that CO seems content to let this unnecessary disharmony prevail under his watch. It seems CO is letting SG get on with the local operations, which in my view is a big mistake. Just because we are in the debt of the Ogdens does not mean they are free from criticism- there will be more if this approach continues. |

I could be wrong but I don’t think we have a game on Saturday because Tamworth are at Burton in the FACup on Sunday. I think Tamworth has been moved to Tuesday 17th Dec, which is our next home game, apart from Man U u9’s next Tuesday… |

Great result. Poor coverage from DAZN - picture, sound interference and camerawork all sub standard. Not good for a PPV channel. But, in a way it added to the old school ground out win. Safe trip home for the Dale fans. |
