Isn't there a rule where you can only play for 2 clubs in a single season? (the Ben Arfa rule) Thats Furlong out of the first team squad picture for the rest of the season if I'm correct

Gavin Peacock was presenting the awards at a football tour i was on as a 13 year old. Had my QPR shirt on underneath my smart shirt when collecting my award and couldnt help but show him the badge showing through. Had a quick chat with me on stage but then came and found me in my seat to talk to me again. Was incredibly kind and gave me some tips to keep playing.
Safe to say the rest of my team had no idea who this strange man was that talking to me (being from Northampton)

I hope you put money on that and it comes off. Cant see Bristol or Preston anywhere other than struggling for survival. Same as i cant see Hull being below mid table.
Leeds could have an interesting season and could probably go either way

Both Derby and M'Boro are spending big...anything less than promotion shuld be seen as a failure regardless of them being 'chokers' and Clement being inexperienced.

I'm still unsure on Dyche as a manager to be honest, he did fantastically getting Burnley into prem but they suffered no injuries that year and like i said had the goals + assists of Ings/Trippier...im not sure he can do that again but time will tell.
I'm over in Great Billing - born and bred Northampton, QPR came from my mums side of the family in Shepherds bush

Burnley have the lost the goals from Ings and the assists from Trippier - dont recall either being replaced with anyone particularly good so cant see them going up.
Agree with Wolves/Boro/Derby and deffo think Sheff Weds could be the surprise

I think you're dead right - it probably is too good for the chamionship and not good enough for the prem. Which is my point, do we want to go for promotion with this team and struggle and have the same problems? or do we get behind what Ramsey and Ferdinand are trying to do and get players in that could improve whilst playing for us and eventually become good enough for the prem?

For example i dont think Furlong/Yun/Hoilett/Henry ever were or ever will be good enough for the prem. Luongo/Gladwin could quite possibly improve and become premiership players. (obviously i dont know that this will happen but its just an example)

So we've had the optimism of previous years, pessimism so far this year.
Time for some realism i think...do we seriously expect a charge to promotion? Or even want a charge for promotion with the same players that took us down?
We need a few settled years in the championship. The prem will always be the eventual target but we need to start doing things the right way

1st time poster - extra mature cheddar/grilled halloumi

Cant help but think Ramsey is damned either way.
Sign experience - havent learned from the past few years
Sign younger, supposedly hungrier players - havent learned from Waddock

Any chance Ramsey may just get a chance throughout the season instead of writing him and the squad off in July?
