Gomis could not hold onto the ball in his last game. Used siggy for his energy to try and close down and try to release his wingers. Did not work but Gomis is too slow and is not as athletic as siggy. Unlucky Monk it nearly worked |

I thought he was more of a commercial asset than a player for our club. Gave us a bigger profile in Asia prob helped the club make a few bob. Not a squad player for us last year so no loss really even if it's 1.5 million some you win some you don't. |

If ML was doing such a good job he would no doubt still be here. As he is not that makes me believe he was not doing what was expected of him. Was not sure about Monk's appointment but after listening to press conference I now believe he is the right man for the job.
Great players do not always make good managers, to me ML just proved that theory correct.Gary has always been a good TEAM player this is what we need . |
