As good as Gerry is Vorm is number one and rightly so.
As for defending, Chico has been taking a lot of stick but I said it on the old PS and got slaughtered but Ben is making at least one or two big mistakes per game. Yes he looks good on his rampages forward but his first task is to defend and he is one of the reasons Chico is looking like a mug. Ben looks like a top player in the making but he is young and could do with a rest. The bonus is that it brings Taylor on and there's not a lot to choose between him and Ben anyway.

Well the ref hadn't allowed Williams to come back on had he,the bench and Williams were screaming at the tw*t.
It's funny to compare that incident with the one later where a stoke player was sidelined. we had a throw and the guy intentionally kicked the ball away to give more time for him to be allowed on the field.
A proper ref had carded the stoke player, but not this one...

Yet in the second half he held up play for a Stoke player to return !!! Seemed a bit rubbish at the time but in light of his other decisions it just adds to the conspiracy.
The only goal where there was any possible question mark was the first one, though, given the way the ball was given away in front of him, GT had little time to come off his line. I was worried about Vorm against West Ham when he looked all at sea under the high ball. So I don't think we can say much from the Stoke game in isolation. Only guy I have seen saving a pen this season is Tremmel, though I accept Vorm has a good past record in that department.
