Well whether he is or not is for another time but he's now made over 40 senior appearances and he's 23 next birthday so it seems he currently isn't going far.

I think that he is deffo Championship standard though, and if he isn't good enough for us in the PL perhaps he may be for some other PL team.

RICHARDS SET TO JOIN TOWN ON LOAN

Swansea’s Welsh international arrives at the Club

He fits the mould when it comes to playing in our side"

Huddersfield Town is today set to sign Wales international Jazz Richards on a 93 day emergency loan from Swansea City.

The 22 year-old, who can play in either full back position and has also played in a midfield role, will join Mark Robins’ First Team squad ahead of Saturday’s Championship game at home to Doncaster Rovers.

Jazz has played almost 50 professional games at Championship and Premier League level with hometown club Swansea City and during a loan spell at promotion-winning Crystal Palace in the 2012/13 campaign, having made his senior debut in 2009. He played for the Swans this season in the Europa League against Malmo.

He has also won international honours with Wales at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level - captaining the latter — while he made his senior debut in a 2-0 defeat to Mexico in New Jersey in May 2012.

Huddersfield Town Manager Mark Robins welcomed Jazz’s arrival:

“With Jack Hunt’s departure and the recent injury that Calum Woods has suffered, we were looking to increase our options in that area of the pitch and Jazz is exactly the type of player we have here at the Club.

“He is young, but has good experience of the Championship with Swansea City and last season’s loan at Crystal Palace and now he is hungry for more.

“Swansea play good passing football and he fits the mould when it comes to playing in our side. He has a lot of quality both technically and physically and we’re delighted to have him at the Club.”

A full interview with Jazz will appear on htafc.com on Wednesday!
