I'm just writing a piece for TVOS and have noticed that Rickie has now scored in international football, the Premier League, all three current divisions of the Football League, the play-offs, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Football League Trophy (JPT, etc.).
I know Robert Earnshaw achieved something similar, but is this a record? I can't think of anyone else, especially for England.
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

how about David Nugent?
although i dont know if he ever scored for England..........doubt it :)
Just checked Nugent ... he's never scored in the third tier. He played a few games for bury there in 2001/02, but didn't score until the following season, by which time they were in the basement division.
All his other goals have been in the Premier League, Championship, FA Cup, League Cup, play-offs, JPT and a one-yard tap-in for England.

Scored in Div 1 for Leeds Scored in Div 2 for Man City Scored in Div 3 for Swansea Scored in Div 4 for Dale Scored in SPL for Rangers Scored for Scotland v N Ireland
Presumably played in FA Cup, League Cup, Scottish Cup, Scottish League Cup and possibly Full Members Cup, whatever the JPT was called in the mid eighties, various European competitions and possibly the Welsh Cup. Dunno if he scored in all of these, though...

Good call. One name that came up today was Leighton James who must have scored in all competitions plus for Wales.

With the play-offs only starting in the late 1980s it means that the likes of Parlane can't do the only thing.

Fair point.
This would presumably rule out most of the Watford, Swansea and Wimbledon contingent who rose through the leagues in the 1980s on the grounds of age - can't think of any youngish, capped strikers from those teams (I don't think Luther Blisset's season at Bury involved the playoffs).

The Watford and Swansea players won't have played in the Football League Trophy (JPT) either, as it didn't start until 1983/84, when it was called the Associate Members' Cup.
