1965 Plymouth Belvedere, LHD-push button automatic and a fitted 45 rpm record player, 5.8 litre V8 and red bench seats that would have made the Fonz say;
“Whoa”
I also had a Vauxhall Cresta, a Ford Zephyr, Ford Corsair and a few others, I also had a Triumph Herald with holes in the floor pans, this was repaired with a tin of what used to be called undercoat, a sort of black gungy brush on shit that used to get you out of the shit if you needed to flog you're motor a bit quick.
My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

It was about 6-8 mpg. The white Ford Zephyr I had had two QPR rosettes permanently fixed in the rear windscreen so I got the missus to take a picture of me stood at the back of the car holding up me blue and white scarf somewhere in Cornwall circa 1973. Still got the picture.

Apart from those I've listed, I also had a Zodiac and a Triumph Herald, which indeed was a rust bucket that could turn on a sixpence but eventually had to go to the happy hunting grounds for reasons mentioned. I think it was sold to us by a dodgy bloke who now lives in Berkshire.

Had a 1954 Rover 90,full length Webasto roof,felt like royalty tooling around in that early seventies.Drove like a new motor - suicide doors,freewheel,valve radio,could pull away in top no problem.The gangs of the sixties used to employ these for ram raiding as they were built like a tank.
