For us this end we are only interested in both games, I don't see any point going all that way for just one match!
So if anyone finds this useful here are some bits:
I have contacted the Hotel Vital and they have informed me that Villach is the nearest train station if you decide to take the train.

Virtually everyone I have spoken to, which is quite a few, only fancy the Saturday game.
Germany & Austria are full of Turks so Thursday will probably be full of 'em.
There are far more frequent flights to Salzburg or Ljubljana than Klagenfurt, so you have more of a choice, though it's a couple of hours on the train too.
Udine is only a couple of hours away so they may have a few followers, though knowing Italians I wouldn't bank on it.
Can't see more than about 100 Rangers being there on the Saturday so hotels won't exactly be a problem unless it coincides with some sort of local festival.
I still haven't had a convincing coach offer yet, but by next weekend I'll make a decision and see how many fancy it.
Let's be honest apart from maybe Brighton this season, there isn't much for the seasoned R's follower to look forward to, can you really be assed to get any enthusiasm for trips to M'boro, Barnsley, Leeds and the like? | | | |

Not sure we will be able to make this trip.
Our best options are to fly from Manchester to Munich then a 4 hour train journey to Villach, or fly to Venice then a 3 hour train journey to Villach.
Either way - work commitments will mean it will be a last minute decision.
The week after would have been perfect.

It also falls on a busy time of year for coach companies, and they can earn well without the risk of European hassle.
It's a shame because there were quite a few crazy 'R's interested.
Augsburg was a better one last year anyway!
Anyhow, I'll have one going to Huddersfield for the first League away game, details to follow.
No more than £30, 8am at The Target, with M1 pick ups likely.
