I just wanted to bring up a point about how much referees and linesmens decisions affect QPR...
As I was watching yesterday and Taarabt got tripped from behind and the referee didn't see it and broke quickly I again saw why we are doing so bad this season. Honestly the amount of times referees don't give us free kicks means a) We are put on the backfoot, b) We lose our attacking and c) the players lose their confidence going forward
Its a huge impact and I HATE seeing no foul given when Man Utd would be given it each and everytime.

refs overall are so dire
qpr never get any "home " advantage
i have not of sideline technology being used, it wasn't wigan v newcastle but was for us!

theres been a few green bundled in the the goal ,most refs protect the keeper when that happens rightley or wrongly
the hand ball wba i think also comes to mind
as for yesterday seemed fair enough worst miss for me was near the death bosingwa was about to head clear another wigan high ball but got a push in the back so missed his header ( he then upset/panic) fouled the wigan player resulting in yet another great chance for wigan ie a free kick 28% of their goals had come free set pieces before their goal |  |

Yeah, you are being biased.
We have had some poor refereeing, but that always happens. The refereeing this year hasn't been nearly as bad as last year.
But we aren't in our predicament because of poor refereeing. We are in our predicament because we can't win games. We are in our predicament because we can't hold the lead with 30 seconds to go. We are in our predicament because we can't score from the penalty spot. We are in our predicament because we give away too many soft goals. We are in our predicament because we can't keep possession of the ball and are forever giving it away.
We are in our predicament for many reasons,but poor referring isn't one of them. |  |

I said at the time and I'll say it again. I didn't see anything wrong with the WBA goal. Player just stood his ground. Green should have dealt with it. Maybe the refs are like me and totally embarrassed by our free kicks so they've stopped giving us them.:) | | | |

Didn't Ashley Williams do a basketball clearance in Swansea's box at 2-1 and get away with it? I remember in the Spurs away game someone (Scott Parker?) does a American Football style takedown off the ball on Nedum who is the only player really anywhere near to blocking off Bale, clearly hauled down but the ref lets Spurs carry on and score.
There have been dodgy decisions, but probably less than half as many as unforced individual errors by our own players. |  | | |

Some valid posts in this thread and I wasn't even saying its the major decisions that go against QPR this seaosn. Last season it certainly was...
But this season i find its just all of the niggly ones. I would say for a referee officating a Man Utd match for example they will give Man Utd the benefit of the doubt 75%. Other clubs 50%. QPR (and presumably a couple of other 'small teams') 30-40%.
This impacts everything throughout the game
But yes this is coupled together with us being poor overall throughout the season. We have made the same mistakes over and over and don't learn. I wouldn't say we've been shite. Only been ran over a couple of time this season... But just lost out in EVERY single key moment in the season | |

I agree, we certainly do not get any favours from officials. The last time I thought that we had got away with something was Stoke away last season. As to whether it is pay back for Faurlin or just a general feeling by officials that it doesn't matter if they get it wrong against QPR. But the 'fortunate' wrong decisions that Wigan have got recently will probably keep them up, whereas the wrong decisions against Spurs,Arsenal, WBA etc will not help us in staying up. |  |

Everyone who supports a struggling team says officials have done them no favours. We forget the times we got away with things. I don't see anyone on here saying Remy was lucky to escape a red card on Sunday for his tackle on Gomez, but he was.

i dont follow utd so cant say i take much interest but like i said the big boys will get the benefit of doubt compared to the rest in fact wigan have suffered from some horrendous decisions over the last couple of seasons. |

did you read the bit that said last couple of seasons ? They conceded 2 offside goals at chelsea late last season ,conceded a joke penalty at old trafford earlier this season when welbeck dived and i can remember a joke sending off against newcastle in a live sky game.Its swings and roundabouts ,people need to move on. | | | |
