How come? He is at the heart of everything tonight. Imperious play to slip Mackie in.
Match Thread - Sunderland v. QPR on 20:35 - Nov 27 with 1492 views | Gloucs_R | First half thoughts: Diakite and Mbia doing really well Granero out of the game Adel needs to pick a pass and not feck about with it Cisse is isolated, I would like to see Mackie play closer to him Back 4 looking pretty good Seemed to have worked on set pieces, finally!

Match Thread - Sunderland v. QPR on 20:38 - Nov 27 with 1414 views | BromleyHoop | Given up with my stream. Not a good match to watch for my blood pressure anyway. Rangers seem terminally low on confidence and I'm surprised at the low key, nervous, low work rate performance so far. One goal and I'm sure Sunderland would impload but we're totally incapabale of building any momentum.

I just think he's taking too long over stuff, he gets in good positions but then slows the game down with his fannying around. His final ball often needs a lot to be desired (the great nutmeg followed by the nothing pass said it all) Don't get me wrong - I love the bloke and love that he isn't hiding, I just wish he'd inject a bit more urgency in his game and thought into what he does when he cannot beat the man.
Match Thread - Sunderland v. QPR on 20:39 - Nov 27 with 1346 views | klr | Our set pieces are an abomination. Taarabt poor decision making. Solid if unspectacular first half, on the balance of things I would say we are marginally on top, will be interesting to see if Harry / 'Arry can get them going at half time.

IMO Granero is running his nuts off . He is first to close down all over the pitch . His body languge is a mile way from the Southampton game

He gave Mackie a one on one with the keeper with a perfect pass. He can't do that five times a game. His team mates need to finish occasionally.

I agree with pretty much all of that! I assume you mean we have worked at defending set pieces coz our own have been shocking as usual!!!!
Match Thread - Sunderland v. QPR on 20:41 - Nov 27 with 1288 views | ShotKneesHoop | The problem is that R's don't really look like scoring, nice possession stuff in mid field not not enough chances being created. Sunderland look even worse than us when Hughes was meticulously planning defeats week in, week out. Get one goal R's and Sunderland will collapse, they look awful.

Admittedly only seen the last 20 minutes but not the game I'm seeing, I'm seeing strong shape, a really good chance wasted by Mackie and both teams guilty of conceding possession. Dont get the criticism of Adel, again the best player on the pitch by a mile and the one most likely to unlock the door. If he did it every time we would win the game 20-0 but that would be stupid, and so is some peoples expectations
Match Thread - Sunderland v. QPR on 20:42 - Nov 27 with 1256 views | queensparker | Why is Adel taking corners? We had 4/5 in that half and they were all the usual "fast curler to the feet of the first man". Granero's corners have been one of the only things we've done right all season. Sunderland look desperate. In happier times we'd be bossing this match.

I would say we're the better team but we usually are for 1 half and do our fling best to make sure we go to bollox in the other
