The trouble is that the vast majority of players will still think they have a devine right to carry on paddling their feet in the pool known as Premiership wages. That apart (and trying to convince myself that they might come to Derby for footballing reasons), to fill some of our key positions I would go for:
Left back (initially cover only) - Joe Mattock (WBA)
Midfield organiser - Danny Murphy (Fulham)
Goalscorer - Andy Johnson (Fulham) or Ricardo Fuller (Stoke)
No chance you're thinking........and you're probably right but interesting to speculate nonetheless
