Over the years I have noticed Saints are not a very lucky side when it comes to cup competitions. We always get a big club in finals, where as Man City got Watford and Pompey got bloody Cardiff.

Also, we seem to always go out of the competition when the big clubs do. If this could have been 5 or 6 years back and we were left in, we would have a chance. Weird, but when we are good we don't get that luck. These things only happen when we are crap and cannot take advantage of it.
