Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Its incredible as to what goes on in today's society just what have we become, between the way the World is and the behaviour of some of our society is a worry.

I walked down High Street on Thursday afternoon, it was like Madmax 2. ( No offence intended!)

I don't venture anywhere near there if all possible, in fact I rarely go anywhere in Swansea city itself, unless its for work.
I did have the misfortune of getting out of my van at the wrong time at castle st and walked round front og the van at same time that two druggies were passing, who started mouthing off they were sent quickly on their way though.

Myself I on occasion when walking the dogs on the Swansea sands we venture up past Morgans Hotel up Wind St then as anyone who's ever owned a golden retriever will know they have an incredible memory and mine remember exactly the bench we once sat on whilst inside the " Gardens" so we do spend a little time observing the populous as they go about their day. Its a shame we have a council with little desire to remove the eyesore which is the concrete disaster zone which replaced the grass trees and flower beds ,.Even the occasional jet wash and emptying of the rubbish in the water feature would go some way in improving the look ,and please could someone remove/replace the dirty dish rag which is supposed to be our national flag and are we that skint we can't afford to plug the giant screen in anymore. Rant over , I think I'm better off staying on the beach.

Swansea bombed by The Luftwaffe trying to take out The Docks , Rebuilt and got back on its feet post war .
Now loony lefties are in control of Swansea streets it seems on stupid protest marches .
What happens in Palestine / Israel and Uncle Sams involvement is a issue way above our pay grade . why start shouting and arguing on the streets of Swansea , sure your voice will be heard by the powers that be .
As said earlier , Police resources would be better utilised on the Zombieland that is both High Street.and even worse Oxford Street ,
Luftwaffe failed first time quite rightly , maybe another clear out needed .

I remember me & the missus sitting outside a restaurant in Krakow square about 15yrs ago and 3-4 down and out drunks hanging around the square causing a bit of nonsense when a big old blue Mercedes van pulled up and the drunks just disappeared in the van within seconds the van drove off as if nothing had happened and everything just carried. We are way too soft in this country

Not sure I like the thought of stasi like tactics being adopted in this country, the police have too much power as it is .

Maybe not but when something is wrong act on it and not look for different angles to suit the narrative
I agree act on it but that has to be a balance on how that's achieved.UK coppers dress like storm troopers as it is, they don't need to act at times like them .Policing by consent .

I must be the only one on here who feels sorry for the police who have to deal with a lot of scum on the streets. When I was young the police were respected as was authority, where did it all go wrong.

I agree with angry Police now allow human filth to ruin lives rather than wade in and uphold the laws of the land Respect has evaporated as policing now is about not offending people when it should be about those who offend in crime We are soft , gutless and inept Some good lads and classes still around though taking the shite that people like Angry dish out without hardly a murmur

I treat and brought up my kids to respect the trouble these days and this is only my opinion but social media with you tube , tik tok etc especially has a lot to do with the decline in respect for the police and the law where you can view film clips of the police shall we say acting outside the boundaries of the law then you have bad parenting probably the main factor where feral kids breed yet more feral kids. They do have a difficult job without doubt but maybe the way the Police are used as a political tool hasn't helped the public's perception of them.

Forty years ago Police forces should have stood up and said enough is enough
