Seconded - £9m would do it apparently

Thirded.

He’s a horrible arsehole, but I’d rather have him in our tent pissing out than have him on the outside pissing in, so to speak.

100% agree... That would be a big statement.

Perhaps we should consider where Kaspar Schmeichel was in terms of his career at the same age as Bazunu.

At 23 Manchester City let him go to League Two Notts County, a year later he moved up a bit to the Championship with Leeds, then to fellow Championship club Leicester, by the time he was 27 he had played 8 games in the Premier League for City and most his games in the Championship or below

The point is he took a lot of time to develop, Bazunu is ahead of him at the same age, so perhaps we could give him a chance to see if he can curt it this season.

Schmeichel is about to turn 37 is he fast enough and good enough with his feet to play in the type of game we are going to play.

Apparently Everton now want McCarthy as well as Crystal Palace - obviously only as back up for Pickford! Reports suggest we could even get a fee for him as he has two years left on his contract, however, we are reported to be open to let him leave on a free. So, surely the sensible thing to do would be use McCarthy as the makeweight on the Holgate loan deal as at the moment we can’t agree on the percentage of his wages we want to pay compared to what Everton want us to pay.
