Surely, after what was for me, the worst QPR performance I've ever seen (and I've seen a few in 54 years)!!! Gareth has to make some changes? I know options are limited but, assuming Paal and Chair are back. Something like this perhaps:

Archer
Gubbins------Dunne-----Field
Kakay----Johansen----Amos-------Paal
Chair
Dykes-----Martin

I hate the look of the back 3 but surely Dickie has to be taken out of the firing line? Thoughts?

Well, last weekend we had Ainsworth, Ferdinand, Sinton, Derry, Mackie and Faurlin in the building and stick Clive in goal, we'd have been sorted.

Difficult to know where to start. Depends who's actually available. Kakay can play in a back 3, but that only leaves Albert as a wingback. At least he has some experience and we certainly need that at least first half against Birmingham. Although Dieng isn't playing too well changing keepers may further unsettle things.

Dieng
Kakay------Dunne-----Field
Albert? ----Johansen----Amos-------Paal
Chair
Dykes-----Martin

Again, not pretty but if they can get their act together to at least be industrial who knows?

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Good point about Albert - he has played there before.

I keep thinking that last year we had

Gray (for some reason not liked much but banged in a fair few goals)
Austin (not the same player he was but banged in a few goals)
Dykes (never a regular scorer but banged in a few)
Chair (scored a few)
Willock (scored a few)

this season we've got

Dykes (scored a few and then really ill so a miracle he is even playing now)
Armstrong (lots of potential but not a single goal)
Martin (even older than Austin but at least has scored a few)
Lowe (he's a winger. Scored a few)
Roberts (scored a few but never fit and gone)
Chair (scored a few. Out during the world cup and then injured)
Willock (on fire for 15 games and then always injured)

Apart from Willock's start to the season we can't even compare the fire power from last year.

Ultimately you have to think about players like Macaulay Langstaff. Goal scorers with that kind of record over the last 2 seasons could have made the step up and he wouldn't have cost us much.

Never knowingly right.
