This is the game that Russell Martin has to win according to some. It could be the game that he doesn’t win but might do. If it’s a draw then he won’t have won the game, but certainly won’t have lost it. Welcome to the Swansea Independent matchday thread for people.

If this game goes tits up we got no where to go, 2 wins in 17 then, its shocking now, but lose this at home to bottom side even with their new manager boost.

I have ask the more knowledgeable but why are we seemingly set up in the midfield to defend , Blackpool are possibly the poorest team that's visited the stadium in months and yet we've managed two shots on target. ,one went in obviously, really tidy around their 18 yard box but little else to show for our efforts .Grimes is playing his normal 4 yard pass normally backwards ,it's Jay who's been the more decisive playing a few nice balls forward ,we need a spark as we've put ourselves in trouble at the back too many times for comfort for my liking

Incredible init, to much dilly dallying around, Blackpool look really poor and we are passing for the sake of passing, instead of going for the juggler, very poor.

Grimes must be on a completed pass bonus that’s all I can think.

The fact we seem to be set up to defend, in certain zones. And 1-0 up. Tells me it’s working, hopefully for 90 minutes 😉
