When you consider the expense account of many MPs then you can understand why so many are desperate to cling to power , the list below is from the 1st Oct 2021 - 30 Sept 2022 , + of course their subsidised travel, meals etc along with their salary then who wouldn't want to do the job , a job with no apparent skill set required
