Price of a Pint 20:28 - Aug 4 with 6520 views | Togg | Okay, Mrs T likes a drink at the Langland Brasserie. Me being a totally generous and altruistic type duly obliged, even after my persuasive suggestion of a cool one in Wetherspoons was thrown out of the equation. To be fair it was lovely as always, sitting in the sun, beautiful surroundings and people watching. Yes of course you are going to spend a bit more....but £6.35 a pint of Morretti ðŸ»ðŸº. Wow!! Is this the most expensive pint in Swansea or can it be beat? Keith you just wouldn't pay this in Cadiz and I wouldn't when we are in the south east of the CDS. Going back to the 80's theme. £6.35 - I would have a night in Bonkers a Donor Kebab on the way home and still have change. TIGHT GIT ALERT 😜 [Post edited 4 Aug 2022 20:30]

Think so th The only issue we had this year was the beach had washed awayey were having a few issues but i think its sorted. Just come back from Naples and thats the same, marine guys blowing it back onto the beaches from a couple of hundred yards out. Storms to blame and nobody worked during the pandemic so i was told.

Yes the water treatment plant has been up and running for two years. It was a really contentious issue and should have been sorted out years ago. Blue flags galore now. The Balcon is wonderful and the views East and West are something to behold. The town has got a lot busier over the years, especially June to September. However it's still kept it's Spanish charm and ostensibly still a Spanish working town. The tapas bars you will not get better value . Free tapa with every drink. Many a la plancha. Cheers Thrash! Love the George Best pic. It's hanging up in my hallway. We were picked up by a taxi in Nerja to go down to the bus station and speaking to the taxi driver in my Spanglish. We discussed the Alhambra green bottle. I told him how many I had the evening before ( I was on holiday) and he just couldn't believe it . Nothing 😜 to be proud of I know...bloody nice though.

Price of a Pint on 14:19 - Aug 5 by pencoedjack | I took an Italian colleague out recently, he asked me why everyone was drinking crap Italian lager (Peroni) he was even more gobsmacked when I told him the price. |
Did he mention a good Italian beer to try?

Price of a Pint on 20:00 - Aug 11 with 925 views | Togg | Just had an afternoon beer with MrsT at the Woodman. Lush pint of San Mig and a Marlborough Sav Blanc large. She's an expensive young lady to take out. £13.40 something but lovely beer garden and thoroughly enjoyed. Apparently NZ Sav is the dogs gonards. Don't mind white but more of a Vino Tinto myself. 🷠

Yep NZ wine's like Cloudy Bay are exceptional even i can taste the difference. Anyway carrying on with the theme i was in Crete this year and Mrs had a Greek Sav Blanc which was called 9Muses if i remember which was 6euros for 1/2 litre. Then in local restaurant a German couple said try the house wine which was unbelievably good for 8euros a litre. Came home and made it a mission to find some, yep you've guessed it nada nothing to be found not much Greek plonk anywhere in fact????????????

We were in Lindos some years back and had some really fine wine. As you say you can't find Greek wine in the UK. Yes I'm not a huge white drinker but the Kiwi stuff is pretty blinking decent and well worth the extra wonga.
