Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread 03:47 - Mar 16 with 35504 views | EmpireStateRanger | Totally forgot that Leistner was the goal-scorer in our only win at The City Ground. Feels like a generation ago. McClaren. Eze. Freeman. Cousins. Things certainly changed quickly. Anyways, it's a big one. Forest undefeated in 6 and haven't lost at home this calendar year. And we all know our struggles there... Would be thrilled with a 1-1 result.

That double substitution cost us the game IMO. One of them for Dozzell 100% but both of them and no subs left with a number of players on yellows on a very difficult pitch was brainless. No chance of an attacking sub once we went behind either. Also it looked like it was Wallace who made the correct decision to take Marshall off as he was clearly making his injury far worse. A very poor night for the management team.

Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 21:38 - Mar 16 by paulparker | I despise Forest and that ugly mug Cooper That being said we haven’t been at the races in the second half , we really do need some pace in our side and two new fullbacks are a must in the summer along with a striker who can run the channels |
tbf, Cooper has done very well since his post-goonies career change

Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 21:48 - Mar 16 by CLAREMAN1995 | Good post its impossible to figure out why we stopped playing and they took over completely. We had the lead and all the momentum yet came away with nothing but injuries very frustrating .Time to regroup. |
Peterborough have won five league games and have a GD of -46. It simply is a must-win; no excuses.

Hendrick doesn't seem to be contributing at all and did seem a very negative change. Doesn't look anywhere near the player he seemed to be at Burnley a few seasons ago

Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 22:16 - Mar 16 with 1865 views | stainrods_elbow | Agree that our (coaching) bench was part of the problem tonight rather than the solution. Re the must-win vs Posh, I'm sure Mark will be reminding us that 'they're very good at what they do' (i.e. letting in goals and not winning games) just in case. Really ticked off tonight at giving all we had to lose again at that f*cking place where all our hopes go 'Timber'! But, I'm afraid, we're quite a few sarnies short of a picnic.

Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 22:20 - Mar 16 with 1814 views | Harbour | Willock being kicked off the pitch really changed the game he looked right on it. Worrying about Marshall looked like he pulled his hamstring so could be out for weeks. Hope we can get an emergency loan to cover. Thought Sanderson and Amos did ok shame macallum was injured could have done with his pace. Onto Sunday be interesting to see what team we put out. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 22:24 - Mar 16 with 1759 views | Wegerles_Stairs | According to Wikipedia, Jeff Hendrick's "big strength is winning second balls from aerial duels and keeping the attack going in advanced positions" but he also has two twin brothers. Makes sense now.

Marshall's injury at first looked just like a tweak but he'll almost certainly have made it worse playing on like he did, heroic though it was.

Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 22:27 - Mar 16 with 1729 views | benhurst | Could the international break be what we need? We've looked tired and leggy for weeks so I'm hopeful that once we've had a couple of weeks off we can get a bit of energy back in the team? Obviously we've still got the game on Sunday first though, very very important now
Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 23:43 - Mar 16 with 1467 views | VancouverHoop | It was a disappointing result, but not a season killer. However if Willock has a medium to long-term injury, and if we have a makeshift goalie for longer than the next game then it's going to very hard for sure. We might just have hung on for the draw if not for Marshall's injury, which, IMHO, turned the match conclusively. I think the subs were right, at the time they were made. Neither Amos nor Dozzell were in the match, Johansen and Hendrick are stronger and more experienced. Warbs was trying to save the point, but circumstances changed everything
Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 10:53 - Mar 17 with 1092 views | qprphil | We lost the game we were never expected to win, anything from this game would have been a bonus. Three points from the previous two games was a good haul as far as I'm concerned. On to the Peterborough game, three points a must.
Channeling the BFG - Forest Game Thread on 10:53 - Mar 17 with 1091 views | themodfather | their leveller was a "worldy" top class, we didn't create much or get forward, enough marshall made another good save when injured but from the corner? hanging in there.
