Adomah to pair up with Willock 13:20 - Jan 13 with 5767 views | QPR_Pro_Max | Lineups for WBA game, with Chair went for AFCON, Willock - the obvious creative front man, his recent performances should have been observed by all the Championship teams, will be the first target to be closely marked by WBA when formulating their game plans. While Adomah is a natural attacking player. He is experienced, skilful, still has pace, good at both attacking half breaking up defences, is the best partner for Willock before any No. 10 type new incoming signings or the return of Chair. Then Moses to play RWB, his designated position. Wallace LWB 3 CBs Field and Dozzel in the midfield Dykes the striker [Post edited 13 Jan 2022 13:44]

Adomah to pair up with Willock on 13:25 - Jan 13 by Northernr | It'll be a really interesting selection this weekend. I think he'll go two up with Willock off again, and Adomah will either be RWB or not at all, but we'll see. He went a bit weird for West Brom away and it didn't particularly work for me. |
Why no Willock, is he injured being rested?

I read that as Willock off the strikers, not off the pitch. (I hope!)

Adomah to pair up with Willock on 19:50 - Jan 13 by EalingHoop81 | I was only joking 😀 I’d start with the best team and then look to manage the finish with fresh legs from 60th min, injuries allowing. I think Amos brings a lot of energy when he comes in and could come in for SJ or Dozell in that formation. I would also want Ball ready to come on later to counter Livermore’s physical aspect in midfield. Moses for Wallace seems a natural sub with the personnel available. Depending on how the game is going Grey for SJ to add ‘pace’ if we’re chasing the game is suppose or Austin if we’re going aerial from the wings. [Post edited 13 Jan 2022 19:52]

That's the same decision I came to. Start with the strongest 11 and hope they perform and make tweaks where needed as the game goes on. That's about as far as my footballing brain will take me 😀

Adomah to pair up with Willock on 21:29 - Jan 13 with 1151 views | DavieQPR | We tend to start slow and give away sloppy goals so I would start with only Willock and Dykes up front. The rest can pass their way to support. We could then go for it in the last 20mins when we tend to be stronger.

Adomah to pair up with Willock on 09:44 - Jan 14 with 969 views | francisbowles | We have to try and avoid getting sucked into a long ball game as we were last week and, I think, at The Hawthorns. Therefore we need Field to pick up the ball in defensive midfield and play our passing game through SJ and Willock and with Amos to support Dykes pressing from the front.

Good point, FB. With that in mind, maybe we need JoJo at anchor as we know that he will play short?

Adomah to pair up with Willock on 11:21 - Jan 14 with 872 views | NorthantsHoop | Feel this game is a big one for us, building on 2 super away wins and last week's scrape against Rotherham. Always felt that Adomah could play a more central position, but would start this game with Adomah on the right wing back with Dykes and Austin up front and Willock playing a 10 role. Team for me if all fit would be: Marshall, Adomah, Wallace, Barbet, Dunne, Dickie, Field, Johansen, Willock, Austin, Dykes.

I'm not sure that a) we can carry Austin in his current form and b) that Warburton will start him after his behaviour last Saturday.

Adomah to pair up with Willock on 14:43 - Jan 13 by CliveWilsonSaid | I thought we played quite well at there place but I might have underestimated how poor they were. If Mowatt is definitely out (?) Id try to pass them to death with; Marshall Dickie Dunne Barbet Adomah Field Dozzell Wallace Johansen Willock Dykes Triangles galore but I suspect the team will look nothing like that and Warburton will start with Amos. |
Would be happy with that team but do think with it likely two of their back three likely to not actually be specialist centre backs. Putting Dykes plus either of the experienced Gray or Austin against them could work well. Likely they will have Towsend who's a left back and not much taller than Chair really and possibly Livermore a centre midfielder playing at centre back. I think both of those players would be happier having to worry about picking up runs from midfield then they would an out and out striker up against them
