What did everyone think?

Reckon he'll go in January, and with Afcon in mind would he be worth a cheeky bid to the admin team at Derby if they still run the club by then?

Thought he was excellent the other night.

Waster. Old school, Redknapp-style QPR signing.

- On £37k a week.
- Name you've heard of
- Scores a beautiful goal once every three months and does fck all in between.
- Can't be trusted to drive himself home

When you put it like that…

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

I'd say he's a bit young to be a Redknapp signing, but take the points on everything else.

Not sure anyone will give him £37K a week for his next contract though so on this basis I'm out.

One for Reading maybe

I’d be more inclined to have a go for Shinnie. I haven’t seen much of Derby but when I have he always stands out for me. Can play in the middle or at LB/LWB I think. Lots of experience and shouldn’t cost much. Depends on whether Wallace and Field can get fit I guess. We’ll struggle to replace Chair with a new signing I’d have thought.

Or the young substitute who came on & played right wing back/right wing. He gave us more problems that the rest of the Derby team combined.

I'd be more interested in a couple of the younger lads if they need to sell. Be interesting to see what our coaches could get out of Sibley and Buchanan.

Did anyone else wonder if he'd been cutting his own fringe ?
He looked like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber.

As well as he's been playing lately, I'm not convinced that Tom is what we need. QPR have lots of options in the attacking third at present. They're arguably short in the wing-back positions thanks to persistent injuries to current personnel.

The only way such a move would make sense is if the club are open to offers for the likes of Chair and Willock in January.

I'd be very much trusting that these days our scouting process is a little more sophisticated than going for a bloke who looked a bit useful for the opposition one game.

IF I was to poach anyone from that Derby team it would be Liam Thompson.

For only his 3rd first team game he looked the dog's squishy things..

Smells like a trout farm in here

Tom Lawrence has been playing very well for Derby all season and has been good to watch.

Is he the right type of character for QPR?
Would he fit into our wage range?

Based on these points probably not.

Byrne always looks decent to me when we play them. Shame he's on the right and not on the left, where we appear to have more problems...

Can we go out yet?

Agreed, but I thought it was £27k a week. I thought he played well for like first 30 mins and then faded fast.

In any rate we don't need him, he costs too much and apart from his well-executed goal, he actually missed a great chance to get another and did not do much else for the rest of the match.

He will go to a prem club or Sheff Utd.

zzzzzzzzzz

There wasn't anyone in the Derby team who made me think they'd be an improvement in what we've got. Shinnie and Forsyth were OK but at 32 and 30 too old to be of any interest.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

I think everything Clive said. Only scores 1 in 5 on average. 27, we can't afford him. Andre Gray appears to be a far better player and on career wise has scored 1 in 3.

Never knowingly right.
